Halo 2 Vista Achievements discovered, viral hilarity ensues

Now, not only will you be rewarded for downing that jerk hogging the sword (It's a legitimate strategy!), but that jerk may also become the target for a viral Achievement. The list of Halo 2 Achievements for the Windows Vista release is 41 long and filled with the usual amount of single-player conquest and multiplayer corpse making, but the best are the ones you'll discover on accident.

Should you be SPARTAN enough to beat the game on Legendary difficulty, that opens you up for the "Hired Gun" Achievement, crediting any sap that scores a kill on you with 20 points of legend killer credit. Likewise, gaining the "Ninja" Achievement for five melee kills from behind in a single game paints you for the "Flaming Ninja" Achievement. What? Nothing for a fusion core kill? The dream is dead!

Halo aside, I think the achievements coming out recently are getting more original . Getting the Dimebag Darrel achievement in GH2 is one that comes to mind. Frunkis!

I agree with what was said at the bottom of the article, 100GS for beating Normal and 50GS for beating Legendary is just effed. Even though I don't care for achievements, if they could give Halo 2 achievements for the 360 I would play it again just to get the easy ones.
