Didn't Microsoft just go off on how Nintendo is for kids a couple weeks back?

Of course there are the 30 year olds living in the basement still...

Very intresting side note to all this: I saw about a month ago a large ad for the XBOX 360 in a Wal-Mart flyer. It showed a mother with her two young girls playing Viva Pinata. I was like "Okay, this is new!"

Yeay, an essay, my favourite!!

Could they think of a competition that's any more boring?

Don't think I'll bother!

Marketing research as a thinly veiled contest.

This contest is flawed in so many ways.

If your mom is truly a gamer and likes the library of games available for the 360, then she would rather get the Elite rather than the supplementary prize of 100 dollars worth of flowers.

I think this contest is a bit premature since most gaming families are fairly young, consisting of children under the age of 13 (the minimum age requirement for this contest).

The contest requires essays to show respect and admiration of your mom. Unfortunately, that's a tall order when we have clear examples of the the opposite:

I don't think MS would be too interested. My mom plays plenty of games, but it's all either Nintendo or online-flash based.
