Ubisoft viral site hints at new Tom Clancy game
Nowadays, "viral" is more or less the term used to describe any website that is overly cryptic, edgy or, thanks to an abundance of Flash, somewhat annoying. Enter the recently erected, cryptic, edgy and somewhat annoying Ubisoft website, jsf28555833-80604722.com.
Upon visiting the page, you'll be faced with all manner of military gibberish, false newscaster mutterings and a man who appears to be in a permanent state of discomfort. The Tom Clancy logo at the bottom provides the biggest clue, seeming to suggest that marketing for a new terrorist foiling sim is already in stealth swing. Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six are fair targets, but a glance at the infamous (and quite reliable) leaked list of Ubisoft games shows one of the few remaining titles to be Tom Clancy's Firehawk for PS3 and Xbox 360.
Further intrepid internet investigation (read: Google search) highlights the website's initial letters "jsf" -- Joint Strike Fighter. Is Tom Clancy taking to the skies?

According to information on the side, and from videos, it can be assumed that the man speaks Russian, Spanish and French, and has a young daughter. Something traumatic possibly happened to his family. The man also passed through Officer Candidates School.
There are references to Splinter Cell - in one of the videos - OGG Cape Offensive I think. A "splinter cell" is mentioned to be in the field. After the woman speaking lets us know that we are about to have a direct feed to the agent, the goggle noise sounds and the French speaking agent begins to talk. I think Fisher is mentioned.
There are references to Mexico, bringing to mind the Ghosts, and one video shows a cross swinging in the background, in a Catholic fashion, as a Spanish man speaks. The Ghosts are radioed by a member of Red Horse squadron.
REV64 brings to mind Revelations 6:4, which reads "And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword."
What is interesting is that "Red Horse" squadron is mentioned in one video.
While most of the videos contain ground footage, there are some aerial shots, possibly hinting at an aerial combat game. However, the amount of references to various Clancy branches has led to speculation that the game will be an RTS, where different branches (Splinter Cells, Ghosts) can be deployed.

Actually, that's not that crazy. We know that Assassin's Creed has ties to the present, because we have seen videos of a guy waking up from a coma like state. The guy in the video looks to be A. Unconscious B. Monitored by the computer device on the right side of the screen. Not a bad theory.
