The demo is kind of craptastic. If they want to make a good mindless zombie bashing game, they need decrease the number of hits it takes to kill a zombie and increase the number of zombies.

I know that this isn't the final game, but it's just not good enough. I'm not sure if I'd bother picking this up from the bargain bin. This game has been in development way to long to be this not-good. (It's not really bad; it's just not good.) If I'm going to be asked to pay $40-$60 for a game, it better be able to stand on two legs when I play it on my own. I'm not going to pay full retail for a game that requires an additional $50 per year to enjoy. (You hear me "Shadowrun" devs and Microsoft?)

Yes, this demo has SUCK written all over it.

The only way I would consider buying if it was $20. Although I think I would still pass on it......

Really bad demo imo, targeting system is way too challenging to be fun. I also agree with 2 about the Zombies health.

Overall 6/10

Add me to the roll call of people who are dissapointed with this.

I really wanted this game to be good. Reminted me of Zombies Ate my Neighbors from the old days. But I didn't really enjoy it from the trial I gave it this morning.

It's hard to see what's going on due to the scale, clutter, and darkness.

The weapon switching seems slow, and the weapons seem underpowered (I agree with #2 on the volume problem as well - but maybe the difficulty is ramped up high in the demo?) It's also hard to tell what weapon you're switching to among all the clutter, as it's just shown as an icon above the player, with the confusion of the level behind it.

The point-to-aim robotron style aiming doesn't work so well in isometric angles.

Dissappointing for sure.

The weapon animation, at least, is definitely too slow. At times I can't even tell that I'm making any impact on these enemies until they're suddenly dead.

I didn't really have any complaints about monster strength/amounts personally. I played it on the "Horror" difficulty, though.

Something to note: If you press X to switch difficulties, you'll notice that the different difficulty levels change how long the level lasts and what appears in it.

On the normal difficulty (thriller) there's less zombies, but they seem to have slightly more health. The level ends after you beat the chief.

On Horror, the next one up, there's more zombies on the screen, but they don't seem to have quite as much health. After the chiefs, you have to kill some demons.

I've not tried Madness yet... but I'd suggest trying them if you haven't, it might fix a couple of the complaints.
