id prefer a kameo sequel over a perfect dark sequel. pdz was an average game that benefited from being a launch title and being exclusive - cod2 was the better shooter by far

kameo i felt was the better game and one of the most under-rated games on xbox360 still to this day. i urge anybody who hasnt tried it to at least give it a rental or use the marketplace demo's although the game is so vast compared to what the demo's offer

a new k-instinct game wouldnt be bad either

#3 hit the nail on the head.

Who cares about another PD0 or even Kameo...

We need a new Killer Instinct game with online play. That's all.

hey guys i liked pdz. i thought that game was fun. and everyone that doesnt like the graphics i think they were the next best thing to call of duty 2. dont bash this game folks. just think rare was on a timeline to push the game out and they fell short just alittle. it was glitchy as f*** but fun. :)

Yeah, how about Blast Corps instead. What was that big **** off robot, the 'J-Bomb' or something? That would be all kinds of awesome.

Why don't they focus on making Banjo Kazooie more than a mediocre rehash before they start focusing on making another sub-par Perfect Dark remake.

How about a remake of Goldeneye.

Rename it Goldenballs, change bond into Beckham.
Then just make the story that he has to infiltrate the evil MLS organisation headed by Dr Lalas, who are planning to blow up every football ground in europe with a big laser.

Keep the same maps etc.

It would work I tell ya!!

I don't think that the concept of Perfect Dark can be made to be "Outstanding" in this day and age, its probably like Doom, a concept that was great at the time, but just adequate now, but maybe PDZ was deemed mediocre just because it was a launch title, many 360 launch titles had some big problems...

oh, and Rubang B (should you choose to read this)

Yeah, blast corps sounds good. I thought the last PDZ sucked ass. The multiplayer just wasn't good enough. The controls felt a little off and the multiplayer maps didn't impress me and some of the weapons just plain sucked. And at this point I don't even care for single player campaign anymore for a fps. Although that was the only good thing about PDZ.

meh...

They should just remake the freakin' N64 one. Change it enough so Nintendo can't cry about it being plagiarized.

Ok remake the original PD Microsoft.

I will help you out with the required changes.

Perfect Dark - Pretty Dim
Joanna Dark - Jennifer Dim
Datadyne - Calvin Klien
Elvis - Cliff Richard

The year is 2050 The evil Calvin Klien Corp is attempting to take over the world by flooding the clothing market with overpriced inferior quality Jeans made in an Alien Sweat Shop.

Jennifer is sent in to steal the designs....yaddda yadda yadda....

Teams up with Cliff Richard (hes an alien) who thinks shes a living doll. Blows up the Alien jeans sweatshop saving mankind from ill fitting apparel.

Sorted. I dont want any royalties just happy to help out.

They should just remake the first game and then add more to the ending. Make it a semi sequel or just make a full blown sequel to the first game.

Actually, I'm looking forward to this one. Rare has a chance to redeem themselves. I too was really, really let down by PDZ because I was such a huge fan of the original. My biggest peeve was the change of art style. The graphics tech was actually quite good IMO but the weird, manga (or whatever you want to call it) art style just about killed it for me. Also, controls, horrible storyline, etc, the list goes on about what else sucked.

I just think that a lot of focus was lost when Microsoft bought them from Nintendo: they lost a lot of the original team that made Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, changed development from GameCube to Xbox, then Xbox to Xbox 360 launch title. Now, hopefully, Rare can start over and focus on a killer 360 Perfect Dark game whatever the name may be. Maybe I'm dreaming in the past, but I hope it turns out well...

Lemme know when Rare actually realizes what made Perfect Dark so revolutionary - the multiplayer.

Between Conker's, Perfect Dark, Mario Kart 64 and Super Smash Bros. multiplayer modes I was convinced Nintendo had actually managed to somehow recreate the closest thing to Nirvana mortals could achieve.

Over 400 hours clocked in multiplayer in PD and I still never made it past rank 8. How the hell did anyone get a rank 1?

When they are already making games for Microsoft, why are they ignoring the PC-market?

Games for Vista! Perfect Dark Division By Zero for PC running DX10 and making Crysis pale in comparison like a nerd on the beach.

A man can dream.

Alright, Perfect Dark Zero is a "prequel" to the original Perfect Dark that was on the N64, that's why they names it "Zero". The story of Perfect Dark Zero is set 10 years before the original Perfect Dark. I think that Microsoft and Rareware needs to continue the story of the original Perfect Dark, where it showed the Skedar Leader was killed by Joanna.
