Ppl like you give gamers a bad name. I almost never blog, but i do enjoy reading them, and reading your post compelled me to respond. I would honestly like to see some sorta poll by Jostiq regarding gamers and girls.

Maybe the post originally said "after dark" in YOUR dimension, but in MY dimension, it now says "in the dark." (Translation: thanks for pointing out the typo, I fixed it :D)

You see, I'm making that up.

My experience states that barely 10% of gamers have the requisite social skills to attract a girlfriend (note this has absolutely nothing to do with weight/complection/etc. Those are entirely different issues that can't be effected by one's hobby)

This may conflict with your experience, but I feel if we extrapolated this a larger sample, say, of all the people who read jstiq, the actual number will be closer to mine than yours.

My woman likes Platform and Racing games but she isn't good enough to play games like FPS's or TPS's. The controls are to difficult for her.

She was watching me play Resistance last night (Im on Chapter: The Last Hope, when you have to shoot the rods while that damn Angel shoots at you). She really wants to be able to play games like that its just that the controls are to damn hard. She kicks ass at Sonic though.
