??? @ Apr 12th 2007 12:53AM
Yea, weird alright-did somebody splice in a couple of frames from the Patterson Bluff Creek bigfoot film? Yoiks!

my god, I'm glad I'm not subjected to Japanese advertising very often. it's like they're about a step away from yelling at you with a megaphone at gunpoint.
Tamago @ Apr 12th 2007 1:22AM
I'd take that over the good old american "You're an idiot so buy our product" approach
Rubang B @ Apr 12th 2007 1:49AM
@Kevin Kelly, that second article you link to about the DS homebrew app doesn't teach you kanji. It teaches you kana, like hiragana and katakana. Those are the first baby step into Japanese. Kanji is the final step that makes most would-be Japanese students commit suicide.

reminds me of a strange japanese dancer person.
she calls herself Strong Machine.
really neat stuff.
i wanna learn japanese.
Yardarm51 @ Apr 12th 2007 7:43AM
I'm pretty sure that is Strong Machine 2. Strong Machine 1 is her dad who happens to do dance routines with her and is a buddhist monk. Cool eh. At 12 years old she is a better dancer than any pro dancer over here in Japan.
Rob Accomando @ Apr 12th 2007 8:28AM
creepy
Levi @ Apr 12th 2007 6:20PM

I'd kill for an english game that taught Kanji.. but that one just teaches KANA... anyone can learn that in a week or so.
