Video game nerd cred now in convenient badge form
Sure, you could use this super-cool line of gaming-themed buttons from Prickie to spruce up a favorite knapsack or family pet. But there are enough oddball items on here that you may want to use them to show off your (literal) videogame ownage. Are you tired of having to tell people about your QuickShot II Turbo to earn street nerd cred? Just buy the button and pin it to your forehead. (Notably absent from the list: The Duke. There are apparently some things that just don't fit on buttons ... yet. How about it, science?)
Now go, game nerds, buy like the wind -- or at least before Hot Topic snaps them all up.
[Thanks, Axel]

You know what might be really cool? Take this idea and make 1 small pin for every XBox 360 achievement. (They generally have their own icons rights?) That way you could order up your favorite achievement and wear it around. It would take this idea and nerd it up a WHOLE lot.

Where's the Intellivision controller?

Tis a shame that the majority of buyers will be a bunc of tweens who don't even know what the 'Sega Nomad' they're wearing is.

@2
lol pwned yourself
That's not a Nomad, it's a game gear
and if they want REAL nerd cred they need to include a Sega CDX. Bet half of you don't even know what that is
Fatass of Kickassness @ Apr 12th 2007 11:55AM
I didn't pwn myself, smart one. I just posted the first pre-GC/PS2/Xbox system that came to mind, and that was the Nomad. In no way shape or form did I say that the button in the pic was a Nomad.
And I have a Genesis CDX. You got an Oddessy?

The problem is, people who are cool enough to own a master system (like me) also own the great tower of Genesis (CD and 32X), a Lynx, Jaguar, 3DO, Intellivision, ColecoVision, etc. If you are going to go back that far, cover your bases. I'd plop down $50+ to have buttons for every game system I own, but when the 2600 is included (twice) and my favorite systems of that time are 100% missing, I close the window. Just my $0.02.

i currently only own a ps1, ps2, dreamcast, wii, ds, and psp. does that mean I'm a poser or whatever?

Hot Topic is not punk rock.
...always remember.

The reason that there's no PC icon is because PC gaming is dead.
NeverSage @ Apr 12th 2007 6:57PM
@JodyAnthony
