Why is their 2000 point Wii Points card priced at $24.99?
I thought the system was set up so that $1.00 = 100 Wii points?

I wouldn't count on the reliability of this ad. It marks 2000 wii points as $25.00 (which I believe is the going rate for 2000 xbox live points).

The "Prices displayed are based on in-store pricing for Troy, MI." at the bottom of the page is also mildly concerning.

Many retail stores have them at that price, despite it being easier to buy them right from Nintendo in the shopping channel. I guess that's the extra price to pay if you want to use cash instead of credit cards. Or just look around more, some store will have them for $20.

Yeah I've seen wii points overpriced at many retailers. Mabey this is really obvious, but to anyone hoping to snag a wii, go really early. I showed up at 4 am before opening and i was one of the last to get one. Of course, that was back in December, but still. If you go early enough, you know you'll get one.

I'm still trying to find a WII in the Boston area. Most places have been out (and reportedly WILL be out) for many more weeks.

I come across a site, SmartRaings.com, that has a list of merchants selling Wii online. Although stocks are limited, there is a gradual constant flow of supply coming in. Maybe, this is a sign that everything will be back to normal as far as stocks are concerned.
