This is incredibly good news. Those new sprites look phenomenal... also thank god they aren't using Sensory Sweep for development like they did on Hyperfighting.

Sweet.

Add Zeruel99 to your gamertag list boys and girls, because I'll definitely be bringing it to both these titles.

Exciting times indeed. Play me in HF while we wait!

So any idea if they'll be adding more frames of animation? It'll look incredibly odd with foot-tall HD sprites on your giant HD set, but Ryu still taking just three frames of animation to toss a Hadouken. I hope they at least add in a few frames to everything.

"I don't get it, why does the slide have a super sexy looking sprite above 'Hyper Fighting'?"

Because that's Ryu's color scheme from SFII' Hyper Fighting (SFII Turbo). It's pretty fecking self-evident that those are new sprites, so they're titled by color scheme and not origin.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix?

Ok, okay, being a Street Fighter fan since before it landed on SNES and I bought two copies, ones for $80 (Funco Land) and the other for $60 (KayBee Toys)....

Capcom needs to fix that dang lag on Xbox Live and make private rooms for up to 12 people. And tournament rooms up to 50 people. Dead or Alive does somethig similar.

Also, I would LOVE Street Fighter Alpha 3 released on XBox360 and on XBox Live to play people around the world! It would not hurt to also have an SNES-like joypad for the xbox360 or an adapter to allow you to connect your old SNES controller to the XBox360. The XFPS ($80) works with the PS2's controller, but will it work this an adapter for the SNES joypad? Hmmm...

Capcom, you have LOADS fo work! We love you for the past decade and more... Just get to work ad keep us happy. We aren't asking for anything fansy, just hardcore, yet easy to pick up. Example, stick with the same controls, but maybe chain them together for chain moves or make more manual combos that do more damage? Maybe 2 punch buttons to throw, maybe a punch + a kick button for a different type of throw/sweep?

Keep it fresh. Street Fighter 4 should be awesome! More air-cimbos, air-blocking, parrying, unblockable moves, background interaction, bonus levels = power ups in story mode, timeshift moves, better announcer no longer "You win" let's say the character "Chun Li wins". Even on the versus screen "Chun Li versus Ryu" would be nice.

If you go to the forums on shoryuken.com, you can get someone to make a custom arcade stick for XBOX 360. If this is a perfect port, you may expect to start seeing this thing at EVO.

i hope ssft HD background effects would have the same with guilty gear or samurai showdown (aka ZOOMING Stages or stretching bg) or much better for bigger fighting area for player in stages to avoid projectile problems, more realistic arena, cannot be easily cornered area, more evasion plus convinience. if not it will be just like other sf remakes same old game but different graphics Thanks to UDON. please capcom just remake stages effect and animation. but still please keep the mechanics and combo patterns ala ssf2 turbo. thank you for the new graphic finally. that you udon for helping capcom to make new and better graphics unlike other past releases except sf revival.
more power to you udon artist and staff and to capcom

I definately look forward to this.

As far as online I just personally feel alot of 2D fighters just dont lend themselves good to online play. But I agree it could still be done at least a little better but may never be perfect. Games like Street Fighter II require precise input and the latency of a network game can almost make it unbearable. I am not really a Fighting gamme purist myself but I know people that complain of the lag caused by a particular controller or adapter and if you play to the mastery of clipping sprites and the likes then it is probably true.

Some games just lend them self better to online. FPS no matter how fast they are can be a little floaty in damage detection and still be good you shoot a gun and they have moved slightly but can still hit since the model represents 3d space the shot may just be a few inches off mark for better or worse. It can also compensate for damage you should have or shouldn't have taken and register slightly delayed and not seem terribly bad(think of the slight delay of voice in some telephone calls unless you can see the conversation to you really dont notice it). But in a 2D fighter every move counts and affect how you can react as you are generally looking for split second opening in the other players defenses and you have to take into account recovery times from special moves or being hit etc.

All i gotta say is... UDON is capcom's answer to Sammy's Guilty Gear series??? COME ON NOW CAPCOM... no disrespect to UDON but... their artworks looks crappier than the original street fighter artworks... looks like the game gonna look crappy after all... god dang it... dont yall know that fighting games online = lag??? = horrible gameplay = shitty amount of competition???
