Considering the console broke the million mark back in January, we can't say we're too surprised the system has cracked 2 million this month. This comes after being available to the Japanese gaming public for 19 weeks, just four weeks shy of matching the record set by the Playstation 2. This is mostly due to the popularity of Wii Sports, which is not bundled with the system in Japan, and another title called Hajimete no Wii (better known as Wii Play to the English-speaking world).
