Raiden III drops this week along with Valhalla Knights and what is the featured title? Bust A Groove Bash?
The fuck!?!

Just a month ago everyone was talking about the Wii's game "drought", but it seems the PS3 and 360 are in a bigger drought now.
C. Grant @ Apr 16th 2007 4:55PM
It's tough to find box art and screens for Raiden III on the fly. Have you seen Taito's website?!

A certain attention-hungry attorney has issued inappropriate press releases in response to the tragic shootings at Virginia Tech.
Joystiq, please show that you have matured over the last couple of years, and do not take the bait. Do not post a story on this matter, and do not give a bunch of free publicity to someone who desperately craves it and does not deserve it.
If you have trouble finding another story to post this hour, just wait until the next hour. Something else newsworthy will come along, I promise.
Thanks.

I wonder why this site only posts stupid box art from lame Nintendo games? Is this a gaming site, or a Nintendo site? Confused.
Kye @ Apr 16th 2007 5:04PM
Oh man, that was a good laugh.
Thanx for the link C. Grant.

Wow, it's an entire website written in Engrish.
I especially like "::::: Crick these logos for detail :::::"

Still not happy with the super-sized box art...
C. Grant @ Apr 16th 2007 5:11PM
Bye bye, Zamfir.

PS2 owners, if you love classic shoot-em-ups, check out Red Star. It was originally going to be published by acclaim, who went under the week before the game was set to come out. A version of the xbox flavor got leaked shortly thereafter... Needless to say it's a really great game, at least give it a rental. Imagine Contra combined with a top-scroller, and you get the idea... Great, old-school style fun :)
Sorry to tout the game so heavily; I'm just happy that it's finally seen the light of day. I wish it had come to the xbox too though, as I don't own a PS2/PS3. :(
Mr Khan @ Apr 16th 2007 5:35PM
I would've made Eureka 7 the featured game, but that's because i love that show (too bad there are only a couple of episodes left to show... that show is awesome)
Its a slow week, though
Hey Apples @ Apr 16th 2007 6:19PM
A bust-a-move game is exactly what Xbox Live Arcade needs.
Shadow El @ Apr 16th 2007 6:19PM
Joystiq features two Wii games in a row, and fanboys treat it like it's the end of the friggin world.
Rubang B @ Apr 16th 2007 6:52PM
8 players? Yipes! This game might actually be a bash. What's next? 8 player co-op Tetris?
Revolution @ Apr 16th 2007 7:47PM
Who would buy a game called "Pocket Pool"? Man oh man. I lawld.
Btw, you do good work, Mr Grant. Keep it up
dsub @ Apr 16th 2007 7:49PM
"A bust-a-move game is exactly what Xbox Live Arcade needs."
yet on the Nintendo Wii, Majesco believes that it is somehow worth $40. Who would've thought?
Jake @ Apr 16th 2007 9:48PM
The Wii is in a game drought. It is getting games, but they aren't very good. Paper Mario is good, but games like Raiden III and Bust a Move seem more like Arcade titles than next gen games worth a purchase. These are very low budget games. Meh.
The 360 and PS3 are in a game drought as well, imo. Things for all systems should really change over the next few months, though.
Rubang B @ Apr 16th 2007 11:22PM
@Jake, Raiden III is for PS2, not Wii.
lejakl @ Apr 16th 2007 11:48PM
I don't think I have a big enough TV to go with that game.
John @ Apr 17th 2007 1:07AM
Certainly better than Ritalin. I would play this a lot if I was ADHD.
Umm... MEH?
dismeeir @ Apr 17th 2007 6:56AM
rip into me if you want, but this actually looks kind of fun, if i see a bit more footage i'd buy it
Burnt Meatloaf @ Apr 17th 2007 5:32AM
*dsub: "Majesco believes that it is somehow worth $40."
If that's what people will pay, then that's what it's worth.
Why people pay so much for the same puzzle games over and over, I'll never understand. I mean, this game came out over ten years ago and has been ported to every platform in the universe. Free versions are online. But, people still actually pay for it.
Todd @ Apr 17th 2007 9:52AM
@Sheppy
Didn't Raiden III come out a year ago for the PC? Didn't this same game come out two years for the PS2?
