First Halo comic cover art revealed

Bits and pieces of info concerning the upcoming Halo comic from Marvel have been slipping through the cracks for a while now, but today we have uncovered what appears to be the cover for the first issue (click for full size). It appears that the Chief (or whichever Spartan is seen here) is wearing the Halo 3 variant of Mjolnir armor (notice the plating over the hands), so we can expect the comic series to focus on events after Halo 2. We don't know much more about the comic except that it is titled Uprising. The comic should hit newsstands in July. Anyone plan on picking it up?

i have an inside source who tells me that there are not only bubble shields and tripmines but there are also radar jammers. my inside source also says that there are also 4 levels not 3.

Anymore news on this keep it coming. The cover art is nice but I'm not exactly blown away either. Read all the books also so hopefully this will be on the same storyline or somewhere in between.

Y'know, I've never played a game of Halo in my life (that's right, not once. EVER), but for some reason I'm more interested in this comic [and the previous comics released, as well] than I am at Halo 3.

Same goes for Halo Wars. Maybe I'm just not big into FPS', or something?
