Today's most umbrella-worthy video: Pok�balls!

It's raining Pokéballs! Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl hit shelves on April 22nd, and this commercial started hitting the airwaves today in order to get everyone in a Pokéball-tastic mood.

Is it just us, or do those things look a little too close to the Pepsi ball logo? We haven't tried grabbing a Pikachu and shaking them up to see if they fizz, so maybe there is some mysterious Pokémon / Pepsi connection. Anyhow, we want our own Pokéball, darnit.

Anyone know where I can find GBA pokemon versions for cheap? With the ease of uplinking them on the same DS makes it a relatively cheap investment.

This commercial felt really huge and epic until the narrator's weird voice kicked in and ruined it for me.

I'll be picked up Pearl this weekend, and I'm excited. I thought the screenshots didn't show off the new graphics as well as some of the demo videos I've seen. Still stoked. I've been trying to finish off Emerald before this weekend so I'll have more pokemon to trade up.

I just bought Emerald last week and finished it as fast as I could before I get Pearl. I know that FireRed and LeafGreen are only $20 new, but the R/S/E games sell for $30 used at GS and EB. I would look on ebay.

Does anyone know how easy it is to x-fer the pokemon off the older games to the new one? I'm assuming you can't do so till after you beat the elite4.

@17 - first party nintendo stuff always comes out on sundays. i remember gettin my Wii on a sunday, and NSMB as well, i think MPH, well u get the point.

@18 - i think i remember reading somewhere that you cant do it until after the elite 4 and even then you dont simply get um off the old game, they release um in a safari zone type thing and you gotta catch um again. and even then you only get a certain number per day.

but omg im gettin jittery waitin on this game. only a couple more days left!

Thanks for the link. I have been EV training the hell out of my pokemon on emerald and leaf green. I'm glad I can just x-fer those lvl 100 beasts. Catching them in the safari zone would suck ass.

Its a shame that Im gonna blaze through the storyline to get to the wi-fi battle as fast I can. First game where I dont want the storyline to distract my from my ultimate goal Online Supremacy.

dose any 1 know wat 2 do after the 7th gym on dimond?
