Command & Conquer 3 Community Manager EA Apoc said in a forum post today that a demo for the anticipated Xbox 360 strategy game, currently out on PC, will be available on Xbox Live tomorrow. No word from the Major Nelson yet; a C&C3 theme pack and HD trailer was released yesterday.
Apoc's forum post announcement is not an official confirmation, and there could be technical delays outside of publisher Electronic Arts' control (i.e. on Microsoft's side). Command & Conquer 3 will come out on Xbox 360 on May 10; it was released on PC late last month to positive reviews. The development team, EA Los Angeles, was also responsible for the Xbox 360 strategy title Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II, whose controls were surprisingly well done for a genre that typically does not map well to consoles. Should it prove true, we're sure to be one of the first to download the demo.

Gonna try this right away, been holding off on the PC one since it wouldn't run it that well. Hopefully the controls are well done!

I just want the Forza 2 Demo. Other than that(Forza), Halo 3, Stranglehold, and Mass Effect, I couldn't care less what demos/betas come out.
I never played any of the C&C games so this isn't a big deal for me. Oh, I forgot about the games that are supposed to come with Half-life 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2. I never played the first TF, but 2 looks entertaining.

Not to be a jerk, but why are you bashing C&C and telling us what demo's you want, in a C&C demo post?

I much rather play an RTS on a PC, but I don't have a computer that can run a decent game anymore. I'm actually looking forward to this game for 360, as I used to enjoy it on PC.
I think you can do an RTS on console and make it fun, but they just play a lot crisper with a kb/m. As long as the game is tooled to be fun at a little slower pace than its PC counterpart, it should be fun.
I would certainly pick up the PC version first if I had that option. btw, anyone been playing this on PC yet? Is it any good?

I think the game is great. I haven't had much time to play it yet, but it seems to be just as good and maybe better then Tiberiun Sun (which was my favorite command and conquer game, just under Red Alert 2.) I'm really looking forward to modding the game, so I will stick with the PC version. Unless someone knows about modding capabilities on the 360 version.

I'm pushing a full 1080p image with the PC version on a year old mid-high end gaming rig. That plus kb/m controls make the 360 version totally unworthy of buying over the PC one, that's for sure.

I'm another who doesn't have a desktop PC, and my laptop sure won't run C&C3, so i'll be playing the 360 version.
Previews have indicated that the controls are quite improved, especially in speed-of-use, over BfME2, so i'm hopefuly.
And of course, on the 360, we get Achievements ;)

However, previews have indicated that the controls are improved in ease of use and speed ove the BfME2 version, so i'm also hopeful.
The 360 version also has something the PC doesn't... achievements ;)
