Suda 51 & Kojima's 'Project S' based on Snatcher, radio drama announced

Project S is apparently a series of works based on the Snatcher property. The first, a radio drama (yeah, you read that right, radio drama), will be written by Suda 51, who will also star as one of the voice actors. "I think I will call it 'Snatchers.' I can't talk about the details of the story at this point," he told Famitsu. Any chance it'll make it to satellite?

I cant wait to see this develop I loved snatcher, and even though I sold is for 100 bucks on eBay I still miss it =(.
Watch the E3 trailer of MGS4 and there's about 10 or so snatcher references, some in Japanese. The little robot that rolls up to snake is almost identical to "Metal Gear" from Snatchers.
I want a Snatcher DS!

Radio Dramas are still huge in Japan? I remember them being very popular in the mid-to-late 90's with almost every animation under the sun having radio drama series.

Radio dramas are huge in Japan. Lots of games animes have radio dramas. Btw they are sold on cds at retail. Since they are in Japanese often a vital part of the series was lost when the rest of the anime, game, manga was brought over to the states.

The radio drama will be downloadable from Hidechan Radio, by the way. Judging by his comments on Junker HQ, Marc Laidlaw from the Policenauts tranlastion project is planning to make a translated transcription of it. :)
