once again... there's koenigsegg cc8s, which is the oldest one, not to mention that pgr3 had ccr (which is superior) and nfs:carbon had ccx (which is even better). Why forza doesn't have them (or just the latest ccx [ccxr just came out]) is beyond me. oh well..
p.s. and where's veyron?;/ I'm gonna buy this game anyway:)

Wow, I bet if they have a "Collect All Cars" Achievement it will be a bitch to get and hopefully be worth AT LEAST 100 GS. 310?!!? That's so much harder than the all those orbs in Crackdown... Can't wait for the demo!

@ k!dman

You know I would have really liked to see those cars in the Forza2 as well, but Forza2 is a simulator and they have a list of things that they do for each car. Personally if they put those cars in the Forza2, I would want them to do it right. Not like PGR3 or NFS:Carbon(really you should be shot in the face for even bring up NFS in comparison to Forza2) do anything more than just model out the car in 3D and give some arbitrary values on how the car handles.

I am sure they will have some of the cars that you have mentioned, as they have said in the past. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 will not be availible due to "licensing issues." Apparently its been asked about a million times now on the Forzamotorsport forums. That goes for a couple of cars, like the Porshe 550 Spyder & PFG 911 GT3 Cup. Both were cut at the last minute due to licensing reasons.

I personally am impressed with the list, cause it has something for pretty much everyone. Its one of the best car collection lists that I have seen on the console for racing.

@ jon chan

I too was looking forward to the M6, but I am glad that there even BMW's in Forza2. Seems like such a rare thing for BMW to be in racing games.

Looks like a lot of racing fans are wanting the Aston Martin DBR9.

What is the deal with no M6 or M5? Remember some of the early vids with the M6? That is just disappointing.

I kinda have to wonder why they didn't include a Lotus Elise 111R (the US Elise). The only thing I can come up with is that they avoided it since the standard Exige (which is in there) is just as powerful as the standard Elise, both have identical drivetrains. Then again they do have the Exige Cup 240, which is a more powerful supercharged Exige.

Eh, I was just looking forward to being able to play with a digital version of my exact car. Atleast I'll be able to play with the same body style, just less powerful, version. My VW New Beetle is in there though, hopefully it's a 1.8T!

And come on, I agree it's sad theres no Veyron but theres a friggin McLaren F1! To me thats just as fun to look forward to!

97 M3! Yeah, it had more stock horsepower than the 95 but the 95 can be tuned to no end! Research fellas, research!
Missing the new BMWs too but I don't think there are enough after market parts available for these cars yet so they'd have to make stuff up and for a simulator to make stuff up....eh...just makes it an arcade game.

@ ExTester
the thing is they're using an old car when newer modes are available and have been used in games before (so that's not a licence issue i guess), and that's what i don't get.
and about being shot.. ROTFL, you obviously didn't get what i meant.. it was just a hint, that older game (like carbon) had newer car than the-all-mighty-soon-to-be-released forza2.. which, like i said before, is weird for me.
about veyron, yeah, it hasn't been used in any game so far so that's kind of understandable that it's missing. still kind of sad, i'd love to drive that car.

I'm just glad the 350Z is finally getting some love. It seems like it's one of the few good-selling $30k sportscars that keeps showing up MIA in most tuning games. Here it's front and center (literally) which is nice. I think the last time I saw a Z in a game was GT4 and then NFSU2 towards the end.

Awww They didn't put in the new to-be-released Mitsubishi Evolution X. They car is gonna be slick. I was looking forward to being able to drive it in-game since I'll probably never be able to afford one in real life.

Damn...

Glad to see that put some "normal" cars in there. Im personaly looking foward to tricking out my in game Tc. My real car has a zero point industries turbo kit installed. The turbo adds a good bit of horse power(from about 140hp at the wheels up to 230hp at the wheels), but its still not race car.
