This game is a joke. Obviously one of the worst titles ever made. I played it on the ps2 and I regret wasting time and money on it.

Looks Katamari! :)
Let's see Katamari balls or Prince toys at presell FTW.
I can't wait to play a new Katamari game!
Good lord, I'm going to be dropping like $480 this year on 360 games alone, if not more! Too many good games coming out!

@ Kira
Some people just are not able to enjoy a good game. Either you didn't give it a chance and take the time to get good at it or you are dead inside and you are not capable of having fun. You should think about speaking with a therapist, they can help you learn to live again. Let love in!!!

I bought both Katamari games on the PS2 and actually the one on PSP (when I still LIKED my PSP).. Katamari is a G R E A T X360 addition for gamers big and small..and one more needed addition for the overall game library.

Is it just me, or did Playstation just lose ANOTHER exclusive? That's an angle nobody's brought up yet.

It's very Japanese in design and mentality.

The general premise is that your dad, the King of All Cosmos, general people on Earth (or sometimes animals) order you to collect things for them, or create a star by picking up items with your magic. Using only the analog sticks, you roll up anything from pushpins, erasers, small items, then fire, to eventually whole skyscrapers, buildings, people, animals, trees, giant thunderstorms, rainbows, planets, stars... it's a really fun game with hilarously Japanese intro movies that always entertain.

I think its good to see a game come out that doesn't involve killing everything in sight...dont get me wrong though...my chainsaw never gets lonely in Gears, but nice to see some good clean fun for a change...I just got the PSP version of Katamari, and its pretty f'in strange to say the least...

More variety for the 360 is always good for everyone. I went into my local Target this past week and realized there are more family friendly/kids games than I had assumed!

I think the 360 is earmarked to be the SNES/PS2 of this generation of consoles.

I only played the second katamari game on the PS2, but after a few seconds I was in love with the game. It's wonderful and bizzare art style, game type and even music makes this game must have for everyone. This game will go nicely in my 360 game collection... Let's just hope Capcom doesn't mess us over with a release like it did Katamari (Europe didn't get a release) or Everyone Loves Katamari (delayed well over a year), else, if they are going to screw with our EU release dates, make the game region free so we can import the thing. =/

Oops, small error in my previous post. Capcom should have been Namco. Sorry about that.

The original Katamari game was superior to the second by far, you should really pick it up. The second game was basically a "I can't believe you people actually liked the first game! LOL! Here you go, have a pseudo-parody"

Yeah, I liked the first one better, too, but the second had some awesome additions like rolling up the stormclouds and the fire at the campsite.

IMHO the second was a superior game, but nothing beats playing it for the first time. Those of you who never got a chance should at least give the 360 version a try. We're lucky that Microsoft is getting more titles that are in other genres (or don't have genres).
