First, the bad news. Posession, a game of the zombie genre, has been indefintely delayed. The good news? The games developer, Blitz, has put the game in temporary limbo to make way for a top-secret next-gen game that will be headed to the PS3. "Work on Possession is temporarily on hold, but only because we've reassigned the team to work on a major new project on PS3 and Xbox 360."
Now, what the "unnamed game" is all about is anyone's guess. The only clues we have are:
- It is a radical departure from any of the games Blitz has developed before (probably a good thing)
- It is being published by an as-yet-to-be announced mega-company
- It ultilizes technology originally developed for Posession
- Blitz will be recruiting heavily to expand the team assigned to the unnamed game
