Sure, it's not quite as exciting as a new episode of the Xbox 360 Fancast, but we figured some of you might be interested in watching this freshly leaked video of Halo 3. The video showcases what looks to be the new version of Zanzibar. It's the beta build of the game, and you can see many of the changes (such as the stationary bubble shield) are in place. Give the video your undivided attention and tell us what you think. You'd better do it quick, too. There's no telling when Bungie's ninjas will descend upon us, demanding that we remove the video on pain of death.

i dont think people should focus on the multiplayer part of halo 3 yeah its nice and all but its not what is different its the campagin that makes it different

just going over the vid again and i saw something at time frame 2:31 he picks up an item called "power drainer" the only equiptment items we have been informed about are the bubble shield and the tripmine what do u guys think this one will do?

I never said i hate these graphics just that they won't change by much if recent, in fact i think they are good, and i know halo is about gameplay thats why its my favorite game of all time, i know gears was at demo at e3 and halo 3 is a beta but that doesn't mean they aren't going to have the best finished graphics in it cuz they are.
TO PROVE MY POINT GO TO IGN.COM SEARCH HALO 2 LOOK AT ZANZIBAR WHEN IT WAS SHOWN AT E3 2004 AND IT NEVER CHANGED REALLY NOT BY MUCH SO WHAT WE SEE MAY 16TH OR THE VIDEO LEAKED IF RECENT WON'T CHANGE BY MUCH AND I KNOW THIS IS A DIFFERENT SYSTEM AND GAME BUT IT'S STILL MADE IN THE SAME DEVELOPEMENT PROCESS EXCEPT THIS TIME INSTEAD OF SHOWING A DEMO OF THE GAME LIKE THEY DID FOR HALO 2 WE GET A BETA AT THE SAME TIME E3 IS SUPPOSE TO BE AND THEY HAVE THE POSSIBILITY TO FIX THINGS IN THERE MULTIPLAYER WHICH THE PEOPLE PLAYING THE BETA THINK IS BAD OR COULD BEBETTER WHICH TAKES MORE TIME AWAY FROM GRAPHICS WHICH THEY PROBABLY STILL NEED TO GET THE FRAME RATE UP TO 60FPS sry about caps or misspells

Justin U my last comment to you grammar look at yourself asplode? Explode. I am right you think I think this video has same graphics as halo 2 i clearly believe they are quite a bit more like actually alot better then halo 2 graphics but you are wrong with this not looking like halo 2 cuz it does its a remake of zanzibar personally i don't like remakes though. Your comments are going to make my head explode cuz u are arguing that i don't like halo but i love it no matter what unless they completely changed it. OK, first off, everyone needs to STFU about the graphics. If this is real, it's beta, and everyone should know that most, not all, games recieve a significant amount of polish between beta and release. Beta tests generally test the functionality of the software. Also, the resolution of the video makes any serious and honest criticizing of the graphics impossible.
Second, while every part of me wants to believe this video is authentic, there are a few minor disconnects I noticed:
1) As I understood it, this map is not one that was identified as playable for the internal, or public beta tests.
2)If you watch the bungie video "Is Quisnam Protero Damno", the bubble shield you see deployed during thier multiplayer match looks nothing like this bubble shield. It's orb-shaped and not even remotely stationary.
3)The HUD looks good, but in the same video from Bungie, you get a glimpse of the HUD and it does not have the compass-like device below the shield indicator that is present in this video.
All that being said, this could still be an authentic video of Halo 3 multiplayer, and I hope it is becuase what I saw was flippin cool.

Why is everyone trying to comment on the graphics based on this crappy streamed gamevideos clip? Download the torrent for the full screen HD version of this clip before you even try to speak to it. The graphics look insane and the level of detail in the textures on the map is just sick. Let's not forget about the new lighting engine they are using. Halo 3 is going to be nuts dudes.
