Here's something I haven't seen anyone mention...

Check out 2:40. When our hapless protagonist is nailed by the sniper, the camera does a quick-pan to the line from the dead player to the sniper, clearly giving away the sniper's position. It happens at 3:23 also (camera pan to show which way the killer ran).

I for one welcome camera angles that show me where my killer is. Gotta keep snipers on their toes!

I noticed 2 things. The first is that the ts game at last resort went to 25. Whereas in Halo 2 matchmaking ts games go to 50. The second is the ranking system. As almost all halo players know John-117 is commonly refered to by his rank of master chief. This is from the NAVY system of rank. However in the player profile they are listed as private which is apart of the army/marine ranking systems not the navy ranking system. Since in the halo universe the spartans are apart of the navy hence under the navy ranking system I thought this was an odd aspect of the ranking system.

this games seems like the best, but after playing gears of war and rainbow six, not use to playing games the same without the new covering system they have where you can put your back to the walls and shoot, i think if it has that itw ould be 10 times better, it would help out a lot for a lot of ppl, thats what i was expecting out of halo 3 was the covering system, it would be very pleasing if that was added, i know just me and a whole lot of other ppl would love it if you add a covering system.

2 major things......

1. The "energy drain thing" looks suspiciously like a grav lift! IF i were a betting man I would say that its the deplyable grav lift like we saw in the gameplay video in front of Camp Froman.

2. No one has said anyhthing about the controls. From the video it looks like you have to hit "RB" (top right button) to swap guns!!!! A disheartening discovery in my opinion. I REALLY hope that the controls aren't all messed up in h3 :(

ok guys
@ 52: Yes, the original X button features have ALL been mapped to the RB button. This is actually amazing, as it allows you to continue aiming while picking up a new weapon.
the xbutton is now used to deploy equipment, such as the tripmine, bubble shield, power drainer and likely the portable man cannon. 99% chence there will be several more as well.
Anyone who visits this site should check out bungie.net. For some reason, they have a lot of info.
