Harry Potter 5 trailer will only break your heart

You can't keep doing this to us Harry! Don't just waltz into our lives with promises of magical adventure, only to fly out the window with our hearts in tow. It wouldn't be so bad if you made good on your promises, but your games somehow always manage to be magically repellent. Well, you can just fly right off, Boy Who Lived. We're not falling for it this time. In fact, check it out, we're going to start calling you "He Who Shall not Be Gamed." Ooh, burn. What? A trailer for Order of the Phoenix? ... Fine. But that's it. One watch and we're gone. For-ev-er.
Oh my, look at those character models ... they look a lot like their on-screen counterparts, don't they? And hey, what's the deal with that massive wizard-on-wizard battle? That looks rad ... Gosh, it's a bit chilly in here -- oh, wear your scarf, you say? Y-yeah ... that works. What's this? You also have a high-res version? Okay. Well, we guess one more look wouldn't hurt.

I think that video was a mixture of different versions of the game. I know there's a 360 and Wii version coming out. Along with a DS version. I think I remember reading about a PS2 version as well. Either way, it was an interesting trailer.

I thought the character models were outstanding. I wish EA would show the Spidey 3 team how to do that because the character faces are the weakest part of Spidey 3 that I've seen so far.

looks like a collection of mini-games entitled: shoot your classmates with magic (we might have to cut that one from the final version, sensitivity issues) , find your way to the dining hall, find your seat in the dining hall, try to go all the way with the girl, connect the stairs, lets wait in line, let's count sand, nada III

Judging by the screens I've seen, this trailer would be for the "next gen" version (ie. not Wii).
Looks worse than most PS2 games I've played. So this is the meaning of next gen to EA? Use the power of the consoles for sloppy releases that don't need to be optimised?

I used to work with a few harry potter fans...quite the hilarious/socially challenged type.
I mean these ppl were not in touch with reality, they were in the age range of 24-28 and they played YU-G-OH or however you spell that game..
i remember this one guy. he moved up to washington from south carolina,huge harry potter fan, and he was proud to be a woman beater. he'd brag about how his "old lady" would never talk back to him and such or he would slap her/beat her up,he thought he was a real tough guy.so a couple weeks of work go by,we were in the smoking room at wal-mart and this same dude busts out a deck of yu-g-oh cards......
and began looking at them, like plotting his next move or what ever the f^ck he was doing..(ya, im serious.)
and i busted up LAUGHING at him,pointed and said,"oh my god dude your a fucking 9 year old!" ya, i got a warning for making fun of him..but it was well worth it. i eventually quit the job cuz we all know the majority of ppl who work at wal-mart are un-educated low lifes..

The character models DID seem good... but this looked like a bleary ps2 game... if this WAS a ps2 game, that would be fine.
If this is a next-gen game, then props for good character models, but geez, those environments are totally stagnant!
And think about it, there are even ps2 games with way better environments than this.
EA is like this weird attractive crack whore chicken-head thing, we like you because you push our buttons but you also disgust us at times, and when we're through with you we want to run away...

@ Weezy, the guy is a woman beater so he deserves to be made fun of, but apart from that, Harry Potter owns, who cares if there are 20 something fans out there? And whoever plays Yu-Gi-Oh, no matter what age, deserves a beat down
This game has potential, judging by the trailer and info I know of it so far. But I wouldn't get my hopes up, its EA

A thought for a Wii game can have the Wiimote as wand, the DS lite as the spellbook, where the wand motion and the spell (through DS's mike port) will activate a spell.
I think that would be really cool

They already made a great Harry Potter game. It's called Bully.
Just put in HP characters, put it in Hogwarts, and add magic - it'd be the best possible HP game.

yes, being abusive is the main reason why i was making fun of him the other"harry potter" and "yu g oh" was the icing on the cake..i honestly have no problem with harry potter, i was mainly trying to be funny..its just the whole mental makeup of the guy which made it satisfying to CLOWN that meat ball.
oh man that dude got so mad when i dissed his ass..i thought he was gonna lunge at me from across the table!I kinda wish he did it would be great to give him a beat down and im 110% sure everyone in the room wouldnt have even cared if i f^cked him up..but as i said well worth it to get a warning from the bosses! cause as come of you dont know when you work at wal-mart you got 5-8 bosses at all times...all complete losers I might add and imo all lead pathetic lives.

i think this harry potter game is going to be the best freking video game EVER!!! u can do more in this game than any of the other potter games, its gonna be awesome!!!!
