Thats not any more polygons than what there were in PGR3!
But I still can't wait for PGR4 - even more so than Forza maybe.

ciaran, I agree with you. I am definately looking forward to this more so than Forza. PGR2 and 3 were great, and I am now spoiled by the in car view witch forza lacks.

yeh I'll be lost without an in-car view. I thought PGR had set a standard for in-car views like Test Drive Unlimited too! I nearly always play in the in-car view.

I love the PGR series, but they need to incorporate some kind of car customization. Nothing over the top like Forza, but anything would be better than what it is now.

How does a polish magazine get exclusive screenshots? This freaking boggles the mind. Come on American magazines! Come on European magazines! Beaten by Poland? WTF!!!

While the in car view was great I consider PGR dead. PGR 2 was decent but 3 no. Maybe I'm just bored with the style of driving and endless cone challenges. The fact that it didn't matter which car you drove was a bummer. PGR3 offered no incentives to play.

They have "spectators on the track" now? That could be fun, kind of like reverse Frogger.

Yeah, those changes sound good. Driver customisation is always a good thing, and better AI and physics (which, in the previous 3 PGR's was frustratingly annoying and unpredictable) sound like the way to go.

Always preferred this to Forza; never really enjoyed playing a game where you could ruin your suspension and steering rack in the first 30 seconds of a race.

@7: Poland is in Europe. They've joined the EU anyway so they must be.

That screenshot looks amazing. As for those who don't like PGR3, the wheel makes it increadible. Although I'm sure Forza will integrate the wheel too.

Regardless of what Bizarre does to the game, PGR continues to be the Gran Turismo of the Xbox community. That's not a good thing. With the exception of vehicle damage, PGR is still a BASIC racer...pick a car and race it. Gamers are all about personalization, hence the HUGE appeal/anticipation for Forza 2. Nobody cares about customizing your driver. Let's face it, how many times do you actually see him. The only thing that makes PGR better than FM are the graphics and hopefully with the launch of FM2, that will change as well. Sorry Bizarre, but you'll have to do better than that!!!!

Of course Forza 2 will incorporate the wheel, the MS wheel was essentially designed for Forza 2.

Huh? Isn't Poland european? Unless I'm missing something that suggest that only UK, France and Germany are the only country in Europe?

Anyway, PGR3 was the reason I bought a 360 for. PGR2 is the reason I bought the original Xbox, and I would probably get PGR4 as well.

looks pretty nice

on a not very related note i think itd be cool if they brought out a steering wheel and pedals set with gears and a clutch

thatd rock and would add a whole new element to racing games

but it wont happen lol :(
