I haven't played Wii Sports since December. In fact, I haven't had much occasion to boot my Wii lately. I do the EVC for the hell of it mostly. But other than that my past few games on it have been GCN titles I missed (ChibiRobo, Killer7). Reggie lied to us when he said there wouldn't be a games drought. Or I guess I'm pretty picky too. Luckily there is a wealth of top shelf DS games to carry us through the Wii's early days.

Havn't played it since Christmas when there were fresh players. Once you've seen it and shown it off to newcomers there is little reason (for me) to venture back to it.

Waiting on Resident Evil and the 5-star Nintendo titles if they ever come out. Besides that the Wii is just a couch-based web-browser for me.

I do still play it on occasion. It is not an everyday thing, but if I sit down and do not have a lot of time to give to a game I can bowl a string and put it down. The problem is that the most complete experiance is Bowling and nobody goes to the lanes everyday the real activity would get old just as fast. As for the Wii itself between SSX and Super Paper Mario I have plenty to keep my busy in my free time. Next month is Mario Party (if there is not another push back) and I will wear that disk out.

Yeah, my Wii is gathering some dust... Though now it's got Super Paper Mario in it, so I'm starting to acumulate some hours on it again. Then there's EVC. Just like Brandon, I only use it for the heck of it; because it's there. And now I'm mostly using it when my DS is chargning and I need some info on when the hell my damn pokemanz will evolve. Pokemon Battle Revolution should change that though, it'll be nice to see them fight in 3D and online. :P

When it comes to Wii Sports I usually just bowl.

I don't play the Wii as fanatically as when it first came out, but that's mainly because, well, I beat Zelda so don't need to spend hours on end playing.
It's probably due to the fact that I have a 32" standard-def TV, but I hardly ever use the internet browser.

Well, it doesn't get used as much as in the early days, but come on guys! so much negativity! I still love competitive rounds of golf, tennis and bowling, as things like zelda aren't so great for when there are people round huh...
I doubt those who use wii as a party system, or a way of getting their girls to join in are quite so down on Wii Sports.
Also - I just got the criminally underrated Excite Truck - i haven't had so much fun playing a driving game since Beetle Racing or whatever it was called on N64. PGR and GT can suck my salty chocolates.

My Wii is actually unplugged from my TV and the wall. So it's not so much worn out as the Wii itself is basically unused currently.

Chalk me up as another Wii owner who forgot he was a Wii owner. Although to be fair, I just bought a 360 and never had an Xbox before so I am pretty dedicated to that and will be for a while.

Also the poor Wii has no games. Waiting patiently for Mario Party/Galaxy

I haven't played Wii Sports since late February or early March. Coincidently, as of this week, I've been getting the itch for some Wii Bowling and a home run derby or two, but I keep remembering all of the aches and pains I had when I first played Wii Sports. The hurt is keeping me from picking up that Wiimote for a round of Wii Sports.

I used to play Wii Golf a ton. That has been replaced with Tiger Woods. But yeah, I still pop in Wii Sports once a week or so to bowl or play a little tennis.

As a pack-in game, it is genius (10/10). As a viable game that you want to play over and over again, it only has a few redeeming qualities, let's put it at 6/10. BUT, out of my 150 or so hours spent on the Wii, about 50 of that is Wii Sports, so I can't knock it too much! ;)

I still play Boxing for about half an hour a day, and do my fitness age thingy about once a week.

I started bothering to play Baseball the other day, so I might yet get over 0 pro-points on that!

Port or no, it's a surprisingly good game. Loads of fun. With that and SPM, I'm not feeling any drought.

I still play Wii Sports about once a week. My busy schedule doesn't allow for much else. I did not touch my Wii at all for about a month back in February, but I had just discovered Sly Cooper for the PS2, and spent that month beating all three Sly games. After that, I hopped right back into Twilight Princess. I still haven't beaten that stupid game.

I mentor a kid and he and I play Wii Sports like crazy when he comes over on Thursday nights. He loves it.

I'm with vidGuy when it comes to rating Wii Sports. It was a genius move, but I think it has many of the qualities of Duck Hunt. Fun play with little depth. Yet, we still play Duck Hunt 21 years later. Go figure.

I played it a lot in the first week... I was really excited about the Wii... but it just does not have enough in it. I am back to my "old" Xbox 360 games. I bought the Wii for my 5 and 3 year old kids, but even them prefer the viva Pinata.

I still play WiiSports every day before I head to the office. A best of 5 tennis match, and as many boxing matches as I can squeeze in. Helps get the blood flowing and it's nice to have a small collection of these games that can be played without switching out disks. Pretty psyched for WiiHealth.

Yes, I play Wii Sports with my 4 year old son. I also play Wii Play with him. And game drought? I have Sonic, Rayman, Excite Truck, Zelda, SSX Blur and Tiger. All at least very good in my eyes. That, plus the rejuvenation it has brought to my Cube collection (an investment in a wavebird helped here, as did the fact that the little wii looks much cooler on display than the purple cube) means that I am playing this console much much more than any previous one I've owned, and I've owned a few.

Golf here about once a week with one of my guitarist. Became sort of a ritual. We just feel let down when there's no wind, since it kills whatever challenge the game can still throw at us.

We like the gameplay and looks of it so much that we hesitate trying Tiger Woods. But we'll have to sooner or later. Best part: none of us cared about golf in the first place, but it's just such a good game to relax, have a beer, listen to some old tunes, and smack talk.

And as for when I'm alone well, Virtual Console is keeping me entertained, but yes, the console is in dire need of a killer app. Especially online content at that point. With Fall showing its head up ahead, we should soon be cursing our empty wallet and beg for a slowdown.

That's the way it goes on pretty much all consoles, anyway (except the DS).

I play Wii Sports on an almost daily basis.
Usually, I'll play a 5 game tennis match, followed by 9 holes of golf and a Wii Fitness session.
I sometimes come back later in the day for another round of tennis or golf.
I love it and wish that Nintendo found a way to use the online capacities of the Wii to offer (at a price of course) a few more golf courses or additional options for any and all of the sports.

I don't have much time to play my Wii but I use the internet channel almost daily to listen to music because my Wii is in a room that doesn't have a computer or radio.

As for Wii Sports, it is one of two games I own for the Wii and still find myself playing a few rounds of Tennis. That's about the only sport that I am interested in. Bowling used to be my favorite but Tennis is more active and I feel like I'm getting a nice mini-workout from a few games of 5.

I still use mine everyday and especially when friends come over. Although I can tell that the fun is wearing a bit thin. I'm hoping as more games come out they actually utilize the remotes properly to make the games have a lot more replayability.

And I'm hoping they do the next Unreal Tournament for the Wii...

I curse all you bastards for actually having time to play video games ;-)

Seriously, my 1-year-old takes up most of my free time. Since it came out, I've been spending all the time I do get on Super Paper Mario. Once that one is done, the Wii will probably keep gathering dust for a couple of months, just like it did from January to April. I like the idea of the Wii; I loved Zelda, and Wii Sports and Excite Truck both held my interest for a week or two each, but there's not much else out right now that suits my tastes. I'm just waiting for SSBB, Mario Galaxy, and Metroid. I might take a look at some of the 3rd-party stuff that comes out late summer, but otherwise, it's going to be PC and 360 getting most of my time.

If you don't own SPM and Godfather you have no reason to complain about a lack of games for the Wii, too many of you idiots complaining about a lack of games for Wii need to actually go out and buy some games, of course your Wii won't be used if all you own is Zelda and you've already beaten it, morons

Me and my five year old son love playing it, we still pop Wii Sports once in a while, most of our time were spent playing Wario. Now that I borrowed Zelda from a friend, been playing that one for over a week now and have SPM waiting in the wings. I also got Sonic but didn't enjoy it as much as the first time I played it. I also got a couple of VC games. So no, my Wii is not gathering dust =)

I just played Wii Sports a few days ago.
I probably play it once a week when my friends come over to play Wii.
Though yeah, I don't play it as much as I used to... back when I first got my Wii.

I think that it's mostly because of the fact that I've "evolved" in the Wii.
Now that I rule the controls, I play games that have a more sophisticated control scheme. I have like 5 Wii games in total.

On top of that, I have yet to beat Zelda, so that takes a lot of my Wii time.
I know, I know... I should've been done with it 4 months ago, but I love the game so much that I want to make it last! Specially since we probably won't have another Zelda for another two years.

I rotate through all my games... So I'm not feeling any drought.
Wii rocks!!

Sports has been gathering dust for quite a while. I think I'd play it more if it were another channel - swapping the discs out for a few minutes of Wii Sports leisure is too much work for me, I'd rather just play one of the VC games I have.

I've been trying to finish Zelda, but I just can't seem to get myself to play it. It's just not the same as TOoT, which is still my favorite game of all time. I haven't been WOW'd at all in TP. Take Hyrule Field, in TOoT, my jaw dropped the first time I saw it. I spent hours exploring every nook and cranny. But in TP, I find its just a hassel to trudge through between destinations. And I'd much rather be bugged by the fairy than that stupid Midna. Ugh. I've just collected the last mirror shard, so I'm getting close to finishing. I'm only at 42hours though...I thought it was supposed to be a 70hour game?

I wanted to hold off on buying SPM until after I beat TP, but I couldn't resist. Those of you complaining about a drought really need to pick up this game.

Yeah I still rock Wii Sports almost daily. It's my exercise routine at home amongst other things. Get in about an hour of it 4 times a week. Mostly boxing. It's funny to see my arms get cuts in them from playing a video game. Oh well. Now if there was something to work on the abs portion.
