Halo 2 map download problems continue

Like a silent befuddled cartographer, people are still having problems getting access to the new Halo 2 maps. Readers have been letting us know that after multiple attempts (including a purported 103 times from one poor, determined soul) that they still can't get the joy that is new fragging experiences.

Bungie claims that the problems have been fixed, but we contacted them yesterday after continuing to hear from vexed gamers, and they told us, "Microsoft and Bungie are aware of some issues that some users may be having. Please keep an eye on Bungie.net for more information."

So, it's not exactly a huge revelation, but hopefully they'll have a fix soon. Keep your eye on this space for more news.
