Microsoft: Halo 3 will help us sell consoles

Well think of it this way...there are 10 million people who bought a 360 in its first year...when the only good games available were Gears, GRAW and Rainbow 6, and despite the massive quality issues...so what kind of people do you think those were? The kind of people who just like shooters, and who are likley to be the Halo 3 fans...so thats 10 million potential "Halo 3 sells 360" customers who are down already, doesnt leave too many...

Halo the game itself is ok, the story though....



(although my one major complaint is that you never got any story mode missions against humans)

But think of how many 360 will have to be replaced when 72 hour halo3 marathons crisp them up. Thats like 7 million Elites right there.

All MS has to do is spread a rumor that Elite is .0005 ms faster response time than Premium in Halo3 and they will sell an additional 3 million.
