Wouldn't a latte every day of the month end up costing around $120?

#2 ... good work! $120 - $29.99 for Saint's Row - $29.99 for = approximately $60. Leaving that free for you to buy another game.

Today's math lesson has been brought you to by the letter Q and the number 4718.

@ serotoninzero

kinda reminds me of that futurama episode where they all got the tax refunds

"What are you going to do with your $300, Fry"

"I'm going to buy 100 mocha lattes"

Maybe now at long last I can finally convince my friends to buy the excellent Saint's Row. Every copy sold is one step closer to Saint's Row 2.

You might need to eat less and get laid more. That being said, if you can put down the sandwich for 3 seconds and play Lego SW II - it's a blast!

"when is Dead Rising going to go platinum?"

It only just officially got a global markdown to $40 (I think this site already reported it a week or so ago). So expect another 6-12 months of milking it before it goes Platinum.

I'm tired of these greatest hits lineup games still costing $10 above last generation's standardized MSRP. Even new games are $10 more with no solid explanation. I still don't get exactly WHY these games are so superior. Even PSP and DS titles are an arm and a leg. All the industry excuses don't add up. Frankly, they don't even need a "Platinum Hits" lineup anymore...most games get marked down in-store to $30 months and months before Microsoft gifts us with an insulting "bargain price" that costs the same as the non-bargain price. In reality, you're just paying the same price for an alternate packaging with shitty box art.

I dread Platinum Hits or Sony's Greastest Hits release label. It's a mental quirk and it borders on stupid, but if you're a game collector or concerned about resale value ...

Okay, while I will admit I don't tend to traverse the "wonderful world" of DLC often, I have to ask. What DLC content to "extend gameplay" did Saints Row get. My friends at volition only told me about clothing and tattoo packs.

Of all three, Playstations is least offensive to the eyes, actually. Personally, I get most annoyed by Nintendos. Not only do they put up the ugliest banner on their Players Choice, but games who don't even receive players choice status but sells a million units get an ugly ass brand on the cover stating that it's a "Million Seller." Well that's really nice that you've old a million of these fuckers, can I receive a discount on Super Mario Baseball within a three year period? Especially if I have to pay for a copy that tells me how many copies you've sold so far?

what i want to know is why the $50 games still cost $30 when they go platinum instead of $20, you would think they would have the discount be equal for all the games, or at least a certain percentage off(ex. 50% off); or does that just make too much sense?

I'm not sure who told you guys what a vagina looks like, but I think you need to see at least one for yourselves.
