Lancelot was a pansy.

Also, if anyone reads I-Mockery, yes, the mad tiger balls do make an appearance in the video, although they don't call attention to it. Probably for obvious reasons.

Don't ask why I scanned the video. Please. It's 1:30 am!

This game sucks. I bought it for SNES, and played the rom on MAME. Tiger balls.

Yeah dude I played the &(*& out of that game. Also both D&D games from Capcom. Damn these were good!

-and it was a heck of a lot better than Gauntlet.

Bzzzt. I'm sorry that is incorrect, the correct answer is "not qualified to be within fifty miles of a Gauntlet machine." Thanks for playing, here are your lovely parting gifts, tune in next week, buh-bye now.

[insert cheesy music]
We're knight of the round table
we dance when we're able!
we do routines and chorus scenes
with footwork implacable!
we dine well here in camelot
we eat ham and jam and SPAMALOT!

True, nothing like Gauntlet at all(also not as good as Gauntlet)
The correct comparison would've been "a pretty good Golden Axe clone."

I reckon it's better than Guantlet by far, and is still one of my favorite arcade games.

I remember that game from the dodgy arcade we used to play pool in back in 1997.

"You will be able to, because you were able to sacred sword." Fantastically bad english translation! Marvellous stuff.

Kind of ironic that Joystiq posted this on the same day as their article on GameTap...since this game is on GameTap.

It's fun, but, well, it's a hack in slash. Repetition and cheap bosses get old quickly.

"Knights of the Round was like Double Dragon set in the days of King Arthur, and it was a heck of a lot better than Gauntlet."

Knight's of the Round? Better than Gauntlet?

Can I have some of what you guys are smoking?

Dang, I looked for this game for years. I played it once in an arcade when visiting Toronto in about 1992. I loved how beefy the upgrades were to the characters. I have to say, though, that video looks nothing like I remember it.
