I can't even finish Romance of the Three Kingdoms (after MANY attempts at that) what makes them think I can play a serious real world sim with tons more complexity regarding the people and issues both sides face?

I've already played this game, under a different name. Its called 'College Freshman Politics 101'.

Joking aside, I still don't see this game being anything but dull.

As long as you can't throw rice at the peasants, marry your enemy's daughter, and then send ninjas to assassinate him during the typhoon season, this game has nothing on Nobunaga's Ambition.

We should have more political games like this. People can read, hear or watch news and yet many remain close minded and ethnocentric against one another. Games like this one create the possibility to virtually put yourself on your opponents' shoes and hopefully get a new understanding of them.

I take my hat off to those students

Video games have come a long way, curing cancer on the PS3 and bringing peace to the middle-east on the PC and Mac! And you thought it was just a hobby.

@Will Vercoutere

You can never really win. You can really only do a little better each time.

@ Judd

Lol, Family Guy reference FTW. But seriously, is there a way to actually win at this game, or is it one of those games were you cannot ever win and thats the point?

As an Israeli I feel compelled to play this game, so I'm currently downloading the demo. About either side not being able to win, well, no shit.

Actually, there is a way to win. It's fucking hard to do so, though, and it takes a willingness to condemn the radicals on your own side. Also, if you play, Israeli has the distinct advantage just because of the funds aspect of it.
