Devil May Cry 4 media blow-out

I think a lot of us will get this game regardless of what the critics say. so, that being said.

when is it coming out? I've heard this year, I've heard next year and frankly, Capcom is being an ass about the release date, this game seems to be 99% done already.

I don't see why they would want to bring this out in Fall and have to compete with GTA, Halo and LAIR.

October, is what I heard... but most sources say Fall 2007. Let's hope it's true.

man, baaad timing. this will go against potentially:

Halo3, Mario Galaxy, Brawl, LAIR, Heavenly Sword, LAIR, Warhawk, and maybe even MGS and Killzone.

Bring it during the summer, where there was NO game for PS3. I can't allocate all my time and money for game-playing during Christmas. I have gifts to buy and people to spend it with.

I get what you mean. I would like it sooner rather than later as well... but you know a lot of companies love cashing in on the holiday season.

I was excited about this game UNTIL I saw the FIRST video posted. "SLAM DUNK"?? I think that's so awful considering it's a basketball reference in a basketball-less world. If this is their idea of localization, it sucks. I hope I can turn off the stupid voice or make it yapanese.

I hate how stupid japanese to english translators lack the culture to translate well.

Watch the last video, where the demod says "I'm Berial!!!". I'm betting the Japanese version said "Beriaru", which sould have been translated to:

To the translators: At least you should add "ROFL!!!111oneone" at the end of that sentence. That way you're at least not hiding us your mental retardation.

I bet that the same happened with Ocarina of Time. I bet "Saria" was intended to be "Sally". Morons. But I guess if "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US" was OK, Saria and Berial is near perfect.
