MediaCom's highly collectible Kubrick figures are getting a Halo 3 upgrade. These 2-1/2" tall Spartans, imported from Japan, come in blue, red, green (Master Chief's favorite color), and Active Camo flavors. The four pack will set you back $18 and is scheduled to be available November 2007. If you've already preordered the Legendary edition, what's another $18, right?

Why do so many people hate Halo? I consider it to be tied with Goldeneye as the best console FPS of all time. Why all the hate?

Ninjabass, they hate it because it's one of the best FPSs of all time... and it's not on their console of choice.

Does the Kubrick come with guns? The Halo 2 one did.

They look like Lego figures. I'm not Johnny #1 Halo fan or anything, but these would be cool to put at the ol' work desk. I'll just wait for the Halo 3 Lego set.

...but why wait? If you'd buy the Lego figures and you claim these look like Lego figures, why not just buy them and have them on your desk now?
I love Lego too, but MediCom is one of the best toy companies on the planet. Kubricks are an amazing series. And these are coming out this year, whereas no Lego license of anything Halo is announced at all.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm more excited for the upcoming round of Halo 3 action figures than I am for the actual game. I mean, I'm sure it will be good, but it's just Halo 2 with better graphics. I'll have fun, but it's not going to be an Ocarina of Time style epiphany (Which I assume I'll never have again)

Heehee, didn't know that cable company was in charge of Kubricks. ;) The company making these is MediCom, and I am really excited about these figures. Look just as good as the last ones.
