Somewhat more Sedate Truck found at Gamestop

I see this all the time, the only news is that they're selling it as new. That's just retarded.

Me and another GS employee just did that to a March Madness 2005 game for the used bin.

Never for the new rack.

It totally would! I think if you did a Wii skin with that Excite Truck art I'd let you post a link to it in my comments thread.

Sometimes we do still sell new games as new without their original cases, but that's only because the original case was stolen off the wall or is MIA. Usually you'll get 10% off of it though because of that, and we either put in the generic art or use another of the same cover art if we have it leftover from marketing or whatever. I like the box though, that's funny.

I used to work at a Gamestop and we had to do that whenever people stole empty boxes off the wall. It happens more than you think - just go in a Gamestop and look around, and you'll see plenty of white boxes. I don't know what people do with all those empty boxes. Anyway, there's a 10% discount for this sort of thing. It may not sound like much, but it's the best you can get. If they discount it too much, then people would purposely steal boxes to get games cheaper.

People are complaining that they are selling it as "new". However, the discount makes it the same price as the used one. So what's the problem? You're paying the used price, but you're getting a spotless disc. Perhaps there should be some kind of sticker to indicate that a game like this is 10% off.
