That music that plays on the Fallout 3 teaser "countdown" site is fantastic. Even if it doesn't conform with the previous two games' more ambient style, I'm glad to see the effort being put into it.
Plus I love epic soundtracks.

i played the first two fallouts and i loved them.....but the gameplay kinda got old quick.it got to the point were i just wanted to know what happens in the story, what im saying is alot of people have doubtful views on this game and its new designer but, im goin to keep it open and wait and see before i come to any judgement/opinion.
plus i also love morrowind and oblivion
just good games thats all-

The music is fucking pretentious fail of all kinds of fail and AIDS and medieval-themed LOTR-like fantasy.
Bring on some 40s, 50s or 60s jazz, early rock'n'roll or blues classics like "What a wonderful world", or music by artists like B.B. King, Arthur Conley (perhaps), or anyone from this list here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1960s_Music_Groups
I agree that this music can be useful for something (like a background theme), but it seems to me it will replace the retro-like goodness that was "Kiss to build a dream on" and "Maybe" from the two previous games, which will make me a very sad panda. I hope this will not be the case.

I agree with #1, the music is great. I for one do not want to compare it two the first two games. Those games were amazing. I'm looking at fallout 3 differently, but I for one love morrowind and oblivion, so I'm excited. Say what you will, that piece of music was very well done, and if that's any indication at all then this game should be great.
