For the firstest time ever a demo is receiving an Xbox Live update treatment. Major Nelson sends word that the Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia demo has been updated to fix the matchmaking issues, but sadly, not the control scheme. And since most everyone is a tad underwhelmed by the game, we're not sure how many will even see the update. But no matter, it's updated. Also, developer Jeremy from Artificial Studios will be online tonight and tomorrow playing the Monster Madness demo. the demo sucked...particularly the control schematics...so yea...until that gets fixed...this game is going into the "shit/crap" category.

I like the art style and concept. The controls just need to be tighter along with a few other things. They should just develop it until it's a decent title. Is anyone really chomping at the bit to get this game?

I was surprised that this was a full title, and not an XBLA game. I can't imaging paying a real $60 for this (or even $30) instead of 400 points or less.
Really, really underwhelming. They actually found a way to make a clone of LucasArts' "Zombies Ate My Neighbors" into a sucky, pooly controlled, boring, lifeless game. Considering ZAMN was one of my favorite titles on the SNES, that's a pretty neat trick.
Lots of attitude, but no sizzle.
