They have to do it in 3rd person. What's the point of having the a lego minifig when you won't see him?

I just hope they combine the games into one package, so as you run through the Cantina you can select all 6 episodes, instead of quitting one game and starting the other to go back and forth.

I just bought Lego Star Wars II last week. The first one was one of my
favorite games from last gen. There's a lot they can do to the game to
use they Wii remote. Wave or shake to use the force or the lightsaber.
You could tilt to control flying it during the flying missions.
I just bought a new TV so adding Widescreen support and 480P to the first game would be a big plus to me. The first game wasn't availible in WS on any
platform and the Xbox version was the only one that had 480P. Also Lego Star Wars II does support it.

Most likely your going to be better off buying the 1st one for 20 bucks and the new one for 30 for the Gamecube.
same price.

Wow. I love the Wii, but c'mon! We have a system that promised to revolutionize the way we play video games, and it's been out for what? 6 months?

We've got Zelda and Super Paper Mario which show what the Wii is capable of. 2 games. That's it.

When are developers going to embrace this things and dare to take risks in the industry, rather than going for the easy kill. I actually don't think that Nintendo's success will be guaged by the quality of their first-party titles, but by third parties willingness to embrace the Wii and push for something different in the industry.

So far, it doesn't look like they are - it's not like it's a terribly difficult system to design for.

So sad that the first Star Wars game on the Wii has to be this...I would've even taken 'Rogue Squadron' on the VC over this re-hash from a year ago.

If they do it right, it could be a lot of fun. While the Wii remote is aimed in the general direction of the "sensor bar," its position/orientation/speed can be known in 3D. Basically they could make a very, very good lego building game where you actually place each block.

As for the other controls, isn't Lego Star Wars simple enough to just use the buttons and maybe one or two motions?
