If they did let it go, then he will be pitching Viagra....This has more to do with agreements then money, as the Facenda family isn't suffering.

Taking money from the NFL will remind them to think before doing things they shouldn't be doing.

It's a straw man argument, but the NFL does appear to be in violation of their agreement.

If you make money with your voice, like voice-actors do, that's your job and there are carefully constructed contracts about payment and usage - they are using the voice beyond the agreement, and the contract needs to be re-structured.

He's simply looking for proper compensation for usage of his father's voice, I think it's fair.

No irony, I'm sure he was properly compensated, by the standards of the day, for endorsing those products.

The family is correct, Mr. Facenda's voice and image must be defended. Can you imagine any current newscaster being held in such high regard nearly 25 years after their passing?
