These are crap. The first picture has the gun going through the guys back. The second picture has the car stuck in the bridge -- oh... and the dude's rocket launcher has a machine gun end? The third picture has more guns through bodies. The fourth picture has a shadow on the dude's arm for a gun that's not there...???

it's not new, Spiderman 3 on Wii can also break a bridge.

what if that's the bridge you need to go over to accomplish your mission? :) that's my problem with the whole 'destructive environment' feature

it looks better than Fracture, so I'm sold too.

if they change the dialogue, this game will fail.
90% of the reason why this game caught my attention was the stupid banter between the two anti-heros. its that kind of humor that we need more of in games.

The co-op will be awesome, im relly hoping ea will do this game right.

I agree with KiraXD, the dialogue is what makes this game. If they turn into a couple of hardass, serious characters, it'll suck.
And yeah, these screens don't look right... or good, whichever word is more appropriate. Are they porting it to the wii now?

I don't/haven't played 'shooters' (is that what this is?) unless Metal Gear counts...but what is wrong with the lighting effects on these. The light seems to be hitting each surface from different angles and with different intesities.

I scratch my head as to WHY a developer would put screens out there that are very poor quality.

Graphics aside, I'm still extremely interested in a FPS that focuses entirely on teamwork with a Blackwater setting.

Haha, You guys are a tough crowd.

I think the screenshots lack polish, but show a lot of potential. They also look way better than the August 2006 screenshots on GameSpot, in my opinion. They need to tweak the lighting a bit and fix the clipping/shadow issues with the massive arsenal each guy has slung around his shoulders. But other than that, I think it's looking like a really solid game.

I still don't like the dialog though. :D

It's not that I'm picky ColinT but I've got games on my PSP that look better! (And the dialoge in SOCOM infrastructure mode can be just as juvenile).

I'm sure it will get cleaned up (it better) but why release such crappy screens in the first place and cause people to have a negative predisposition to a game?

If Sony plays there cards right Killzone 2 could take some shine away from Halo. (especially if they could match there target video)

For people who are very interested in FPS, I need to recommend you to get a xbox. :)

@ColinT

Yeah, we are picky, but do Sony really want a bunch of suck-asses that will just embrace any garbage that threw their way? OK, they might, who doesn't want to be Nintendo, right?

But, i'm glad Sony fans aren't going to just take crap and not say a thing.

@massive_98....

Those were the hopes for Killzone and Halo the first time round....hopefully better luck this time...

At least Killzone is making a new marketing effort with Killzone.com today and adding KZL for PSP infrastructure

killzone.com doesn't work for me. Rumors are out that there is some new info about Killzone 2. Why is it that Bungie has released so much news about Halo 3 but Killzone 2 is tightliped. Yay a suprise!

You have to use IE or IE TAB if you're inside FF.

Killzone (Guerrilla) has had a pretty active forum on playstation.com ( http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board?board.id=killzone ) and that is being moved and integrated into killzone.com

Yep, Colin. I must agree with the rest of the crowd. These screens are poor quality indeed. A slight step up from Gouraud shading, IMO. The earlier screens at least show some specularity and dynamic range. These are jaggy and uninspiring, so it's very hard for me to see much 'potential', as you do.

I just wish this was co-op split screen so I could enjoy this with my friend, a normal dialogue and some nachos.
