CEO of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation Bill Mendello showed great interest and enthusiasm in Harmonix using Fender equipment in the game, commending the developer's ability to capture the essence of rock 'n' roll in digital entertainement. So, since the GH II Gibson X-plorer will play nice with Rock Band, which one are you going to side with? Fender or Gibson?

I'mn a Gibson man.. Have a Les Paul Standard and love it.. Fender can suck it..

If you want to rock like Hendrix, Clapton or Yngwie Malmsteem go for Fender. If you want something else keep your Gibson.

It takes some of the best guitarists in the world to make them sound good! Yngwie can only play harmonic minors anyway.

As a guitar player, I have love for both Gibson and Fender instruments, but it's undeniable that Gibson has a wider variety of cool-looking guitars. Luckily, like Gibson, Fender has purchased other guitar manufacturers, so maybe we'll be lucky enough to get some sweet Jackson and Gretsch models in the game.

I'm a fan of both Fender (I own a Strat) and Gibson so I don't really care. The Fender controller would have to look and feel pretty good to make me want to go out and buy another controller. I wish the game could tell which guitar you're playing and then makes your in-game guitar sound like either a Gibson or Fender. I like the IDEA of stomp boxes but I just don't know if it will actually work as part of the game.
