From the interview it looks like the point is to be creative more than competitive.

haha...best looking Wii game so far. I won't buy it, but I like the creativity EA is doing with this game.

I'll say it a million times, the Wii has potential to have some bad ass games....only if people start thinking outside of the box and stop using the gimmicky motions.

Besides Nintendo, EA seems to be the only company that I know of that actually tries at least a little in the developement stage. I haven't played any newer games because I sold my Wii, but I will most likely pick another up down the road after some better games come out.

This seems to really fit with the Wii's philosophy. Its about standing out and free motion and other such things
