Crackdown packs on Marketplace now

I was playing co-op with a friend, he ended the game, and I jumped into a solo game. I did not choose the "ressurect gangs" option. To my horror, my game was completely reset... brand new as if I just bought it today. I backed out to the dashboard, hoping it didn't save and then rebooted the game. It's still a brand new game... all that leveling, all 499 orbs gone, all 350-something hidden orbs gone. I backed out again to the dashboard (instead of choosing the "save and quit" option), but still no dice. It's ALL gone! If I choose to ressurect gangs, it says something about "all mission progress will be lost", and you can choose 'yes' or 'no'. Obviously I chose 'no'.

This sucks... a LOT. Is there any way I can restore my game?!

EDIT: I joined his campaign, ended up grabbing a couple Hidden orbs I didn't have. Then he ended that game and started up a 'Keys' game. I joined that game as well. I didn't try playing at all in between. After his 'Keys' game was finished, that's when I jumped into a solo campaign and everything was completely reset. I am extremely upset about this... all that time and hard work is now for nothing. Unless we can find a way to restore my game, I feel like I don't want to see Crackdown again for a very long time, and this is coming from a fan from way back.

damn - i wanted to try this out, but after reading the last post, and many others like it, I'm going to wait then :(

As long as you switch your xbox off after playing the "Cheat Mode", you should be ok 'cos i am.

When someone rams you from the back in the armoured car they will go under you, its immensly annoying.

I also cant really get the point of the chaingun, its only good for bosses mostly, the spin down time is just too fast for use with multiple enemys.

Loving the active camo tho.

aye when u start key to city mode it says mission progress will be lost but if you start up again it continues from where you were b4 the update. it has for me. the spear is ace but it should pull things back to you

Yeah, RTW's site is blowing up with people who lost their saves. The problem seems to be co-op. I'm downloading the content but copying my save to my memory card in case it all goes to shit.

how ace is the racing game! puts forza to shame. i was doing crap so got out waited then shot out the tires on the other cars. GTA has allot to do to beat the sheer entertainment of this game

Look, I downloaded the 800 pt pack about 4 hours ago... played it all afternoon, and all i can say is that the first post doesn't even makes sense. The game CLEARLY states that when you're playing Key To The City mode, there are NO SAVES NOR ACHIEVEMENTS. That said, OF COURSE the game will be reset. It is a cheat mode. This seems pretty basic, so I'm just not sure what the complaint is about.

As far as the resurrect gangs option, all gang work is deleted and reset, however your attributes and orb collection remains in tact.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the problem, but it sounds to me like the 1st poster simply didn't know what he/she was talking about.

I am enjoying both the free and paid packs. So far, so good. Although maxing out each skill almost makes it too easy. I beat every boss in less than 2 hours after maxing my skills. But a lot of that time was spent just running around pissing off the cops. Fun!

Bought and downloaded them all today. Gonna play it now if my roomates aren't using my 42 inch plasma.
