Meh, nothing great but at least it's expanding Blu-ray's catalog and increasing the gap of movies in favor of Blu-Ray from HD-DVD. However, next week will really count with major releases coming from both sides.

Why is it called "Road Warrior" and not "Mad Max"!?

Is it the proper version or the over-dubbed north-American version?

"Not too exciting?" Wha?!? 'Road Warrior' and 'Fountain' are both cool movies... Certainly a better week than when 'Remote' or whatever that Adam Sandler film was hit blu-ray...

And I think you're confusing 'Mad Max' for 'Road Warrior,' Steve... They're two different movies - the first one, 'Mad Max,' is quickly retold in the first 1/4 of the higher-budget sequel 'The Road Warrior.' Sort of a 'Evil Dead/Evil Dead 2' relationship where the story is expanded upon with a higher budget for a larger audience. As for the third, "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome," well... let's just say I prefer the Tupac/Dr. Dre video that bites it more than the actual movie.

ps. The DVD for 'Mad Max' has both audio tracks on it, so you can choose to listen to the original Aussie one or the redubbed Amercian version... They'll likely do that again if 'Mad Max' ever makes it to Blu-ray.

The Foutain will probably be one of the best looking Blu-Ray movies on the shelf. MAJOR eye candy. The story may be hard for some to follow, hence the distaste, but Arronofsky is one of the most underrated writers/directors. The Fountain is hands down amazing and in no way should be grouped with the likes of "mad max".

I've heard it said that the worst selling HD-DVD and Blu-Ray discs sell about 300 copies, I'm guessing Stomp the Yard on Blu-Ray will set an all time low.
