I cannot WAIT for Final Fantasy RTS. This is one of those things I've been dreaming about since Hundred Swords.

I dunno about dates, but this is definitley better than "maybe" and "sometime". Not really excited though. Date DQIX for America, now we're talking

RTS elements my ass. From the videos I've seen, might as well label it Hundred Swords 2.

Let's hope they fix the lag issues on FFT.

I got really excited, and thought they were bringing tactics to the DS.

Then I read a little down the article and got immediately sad. :(

Ken: They are releasing a sequel to final fantasy tactics advance for DS, but PSP gets the actual remake of the original FFT.

Really, JodyAnthony?

Hmm... That's good and bad. I spent SO many hours on FFT... that I'd like to play through it again. Maybe...

But a sequel is something I'm very excited for!

Damn... if they're dating Revenant Wings, which has been out in Japan for weeks now, as late as Winter what does that mean for the rest of the SE lineup for DS this year? Tactics A2, DQ IX, FFIV, FF:CC 2... We better get at least ONE of these before the end of the year.

It's not a sequel for FFT Ken, but a sequel for FFTA.

I really wish i heard about this before i started playing Tactics on the psp. Is it worth playing over again on the same platform with just a few more additions (note: i'm not putting down the game or the remake in anyway, it's just unfortunate for me that I didn't wait a bit longer)

I have tactics on my PSP right now, I played about half an hour into it, but I am going to stop and wait for this new version to come out. It's hard to read the text on the PSX version when playing it on PSP.

How are you two playing Tactics on PSP?

Also, what are the lag issues, panzerjedi?

Final Fantasy Tactics for PSP also has a character from FFTA2, which was not listed on the review.

By the way, Final Fantasy Tactics on the PSP plays exactly like the Playstation version, nothing really special is added.

This game is definitely made for the FFT hardcore fans or people who simply have never played this game. Basically, there's really nothing big of a change and you should just expect that you're getting the same thing as the PS-X one aside the extra stuff, which is minor.

Hum, where's my text?

"As an added bonus to European gamers, the title will be released simultaneously in both North American and PAL territories."

How come that's considered a bonus? I hope I missed the sarcasm.

FFT would translate so much better on the DS. you could have the battle grid on the bottom and the AT list and character stats on the top.

In Japanese, it's called タマネギ剣士 which was first introduced in FFIII (j).

I don't know how it was refered into the book you've mentioned, but in SE's case, it means Amateur. Also used for youthful in Japanese, but very rarely.
