Halo 3 release date is official: September 25th

During the current whirlwind that is the Halo 3 beta, the guys over at Bungie thought it'd be the opportune time to let the world in on their secret and announce Halo 3's official release date. September 25th, 2007 (September 26th for our European friends) will be the day when Halo fans will be camping out for midnight releases all around the world, standing in line, and finally being able to Finish the Fight. And for those of you who are wondering if this affects Bungie's internal schedule, the short answer is no. They've known about the official release date for the past few months, so the only difference now is that the whole world knows. So fanboys, how will you be celebrating September 25th?
