International demo week continues with Tenchu Z

You're probably already familiar with the lengths you'll have to go through to download an Xbox Live demo that hasn't been cleared for the U.S., a phenomenon we've covered fairly extensively this week. But this time it's a Japanese demo for Tenchu Z, and it's one case in which we can whole-heartedly endorse the use of clandestine tactics. You see, this is a ninja game.You know what ninjas do with regional barriers? They slice them with a katana. If they live in America and they want a Japanese demo, they don't even pretend to be from Japan when they make a dummy Gamertag. If you ever play Uno against someone named "ThisIsNotARealTagIJustMadeItToGetUnauthorizedDemos" be glad you made it out with your jugular intact. We know you're just a regular guy waiting for the Halo 3 beta to get rolling and it can be awfully scary getting illicit demos, but ask yourself ... WWND?

A REAL ninja would have downloaded the demo in Oct 2006 when it dropped. Anyone downloading it now is more of "3 Ninjas" kind of ninja. D'oh!

I downloaded the game yesterday on my Japan account and it pretty cool but the graphics were pretty sub-par. The experience may have affected by my ability to read zero Japanese, just maybe.

I couldn't tell if there was a co-op mode. You could choose between a girl and a guy and customize them a bit, but I couldn't read what it was saying since it was in, you know, Japanese.

The best part about American Ninja is that the part is played by Micheal Dudikoff.
Could you ask for a better last name in the 80's than Dudikoff?

It's the same with viva pinata, it's not available in the Netherlands but I could download it from my silver Japanese account. the whole game is in English.

WOW. I remember that movie!! I saw it when I was a kid. I must have been 6 years old at the time.
Michael Dudikoff has had a dazzling career since that movie, according to IMDB! LOL!
