Joystiq Podcast 007 - Synergy edition (feat. Shawn Andrich and Dennis McCauley)
Arriving fashionably late is the latest installment of the Joystiq Podcast, double-oh seven! No, it's not "Bond edition," it's "Synergy edition." Why synergy? When you combine guest host Shawn Andrich, of the popular Gamers with Jobs Conference Call podcast, with discussion of Jaffeton you can't help but feel the synergy. Roll in some discussion with GamePolitics blogger -- and Joystiq columnist -- Dennis McCauley, and thinks get downright synergistic.Get the podcast:

Another fine podcast, $#@&tards.

How come Ludwig is not doing the podcast anymore?
JodyAnthony @ May 16th 2007 8:37AM
they were having too hard of a time pronouncing his name
C. Grant @ May 16th 2007 8:38AM
Ludwig had some, how we say, "internet trouble." Keep in mind, bandwidth isn't bountiful in South Africa -- but he's back up and running now.

haha, oh yeah. And the name thing. Lewd-whig. ;)

Joystiq and the Cagcast are the two I look forward to. Been missing ludwig though but understandable.
Major Nelson seems a tad... umm, boring, dry, humorless, uninteresting, and easily hyped on anything even remotely to do with Xbox. But that's his job.
Penny Arcade casts rocked, until I started listening to others. IGN is a bunch of chodes, don't like 1up... so on and so forth.

Still need to format this with a redirect.mp3 portion so I and others can stream off of my PSP. That's how I listen to most of my podcasts.

I like Justin co-hosting, he brings some energy to the cast. Hopefully Justin can stay on when Ludwig comes back. I also liked Jared popping in on the last one. C.G. should have him on more also.
sheppy, I like IGN and their immature giggly ways of podcasting. I enjoy Gamespot's Hotspot too...they make it sound like a more traditional radio show.

Aberu: you can click the "[MP3] Download the MP3 directly" link, or just go here: http://www.joystiq.com/podcasts/Joystiq_Podcast_007.mp3
Also, doesn't the PSP do RSS? http://podcasts.joystiq.com/rss.xml

game upload is pretty good one. And they have a girl who is a bungie employee on it and the two guys fight about stuff all the time
I like the stiq casts too - they are very - comme vous dit - professional but crunchy too.
you gotta bring ludwig back - he is raw and has that dowsing sense of irony that just hoses. Its great to wait to see how people recover from his comments.

Chris: Nah it doesn't work that way for some reason. On the PSP it will say no items. It doesn't show RSS the way IE 7 does or your favorite browser. It has a seperate area, a frontend RSS viewer that works like the media viewer in a PSP, PS3. When you click the RSS feed it opens up more icon boxes that have access to the media files that are streamable. I can still download to my PC and then put it on my PSP but that's kinda unnecesarry. Ah well, all I know is every podcast that has a redirect.mp3 texted link all work. All the feeds that don't, fail.
