With 115 million PlayStation 2s out there in the world, and more selling every day, you've got to ask yourself, What am I going to do with my PS2?
Us? We put ours in a box right next to our Xboxes, Gamecubes, and Wonderswans where it'll stay until the next time we're feeling hopelessly nostalgic. Other folks, they turn them into chairs. The Reee chair is made from 100% recycled game console casings and, at £99, it even costs more than a PlayStation 2. There's a certain poetry to using one of these while you play your PS3, isn't there?

ROFL... great comment

I was really hoping to see recognizable parts, like a Dreamcast logo on the top, or DS styluses making up some part. Oh well.

So in the UK, your chair can be more backwards compatible than your console?

Sure as hell beats peeing on the PS2 and getting electrocuted.

40% more backwards compatible than the 360 I must add and 85% out of all titles is not bad compare to where the 360 is.

insert PS3tard comment: "Are those made with RROD Elites" joke here.
@GiovanniMcAdoo: Yeah, enjoy your old titles I finished 2 years ago and watching Blu-ray movies while I play actual NEW games on my 360.

Holy shit! Does EVERY fucking post on Joystiq need to turn into a flame war? I'm not saying that there aren't times to discuss the merits of each system, but you guys need to grow up.

#7, good point. The PS3 with emulation has bad BC by Sony standards, but pretty good by everyone else's.

Of course it does Judd!
There is nothing more satisfying than flaming someone from behind a keyboard and a computer screen. It makes one feel...almost god like :D
Seriously though...I might be willing to pay for a ps2...but not a ps2 that has been turned into a chair...I mean where the hell are the controller plugs?!?!?

They should make them out of PS3's. I mean if you are going to spend $600 on a game console you may as well spend $1000 on the chair to sit in while you play. Hey its got Blu-Ray parts so its obviously worth the price.
