Our governor is an idiot, he's the one who cost us half a million because he tried to pass the law to make it illegal to sell M rated games to minors.

Actually, it was over half a mil. It was $788,000. The guy is constantly trying to move the capital of Illinois from Springfield to Chicago (more and more jobs are getting relocated to there). But he has done some good. At least it's a drastic improvement from "I'll avoid being known as one of Illinois most corrupt politicians ever by removing the death senteance from eveyone on deathrow" Ryan. While the rest of the country was applaud that douchebag, everyone in Illinois was like "Wait, but he's on trial for so many bad things."

I think the "simulating a contest requiring skill"
because we all know that video games don't require any skill... that's why ninja gaiden and battletoads were so popular

That's why you bet against me. I will throw any match. I will jump on mines, I will blow myself up. You may only make a little bit of money, but you'll win everytime. Trust me, last night in Halo 3, didn't know what a Tripmine looking like when deployed so I just ran over it thinking it was some powerup (wasn't thinking clearly, despite raking in about 12 kills in a 25 point match, I still had my own team calling me nigger, faggot, and dumbass as I'm telling them where snipers are... thank you Xbox Live) and BA BOOM... me dead. In my ear, I hear another rousing chorus of dumbass, bitch, and faggot.

Wha??? Taking the fun out of video games? So people can purposly lose, in order to make money. Nice. Thanks Illinois -- for openning the biggest can of worms since the brake-up of Mama Bell (AT&T).

Wow, big news. Oh wait, we already have gambling for cash in video games. It's called Golden Tee Live and it's going on 3 years now of being able to play for cash anytime you wish. Top money winner the first year was well over $30K earned for the year.

Hmmm so it legalizes pay to play or professional tournaments with prizes. Still cool.

Actually, Blackjack and Poker most definitely require skill to be played properly. The fact that most play with blink luck is just the same as someone playing a football game and hoping they get across the end zone.
