Wasn't there some info about this being in GI's rumor section as well?

The original game was excellent... Personally, I'd rather there was some sort of sequel opposed to a remake though. Unless they expanded it dramatically, I guess.

AWESOME.

I've always wanted to own Riddick, but I would rather own the superior PC director's cut than the original Xbox version. That is, if I could buy it for Xbox -- now that this is being retooled for the 360 (presumably at a less-than-new price), I'm going to snatch this one up.

It was, and still is, a great game all-around. I enjoy this game just as much as Gears of War.

It had too much story (although it was solid.) I would play Riddick again if it was largely based on action and fighting, and not as much story and dialogue time time around.

RIDDICK was /is one of my favorite xbox games, and I'm still waiting for it to be backwards compat for the 360. The fact that Strabreeze is doing The Darkness is enough to make me buy it. At this point I would buy anything they sell.

Other than the multiplayer part it sound like the PC version. Unless they change the gameplay quite a bit I don't think multiplayer in Riddick would be that fun. Really instead of a remake they should do a full sequel.

Microsoft is so sneaky in failing to add Chronicles of Riddick to the 360 compatibility list. Fans are just gonna have to buy the upcoming game instead of falling back on the original version they might already have.

Yeah - I would say do a completely new Riddick game if you're going to invest the time and effort. Surely Riddick must've had other adventures ;-)

I beat the (amazing) PC version, so a re-tool isn't that enticing. Half-Life 2 on 360 is about as much of a rehash as most people will endure. They should really be working on Half-Life 3 for 360 by now, I mean come...on.

One of the best games on the xbox. I love this game. Beat it twice on the xbox and 1 time on the PC. One of the only true games that showed how much superior the xbox was over the PS2, since there is no way the PS2 could run this game.

Was hoping for backward compatability for the 360, but I assumed it would have taken a great deal more work than the average game. So M$ said skip it and decided to let Starbreeze do the work and get paid for it since it is a release.

Besides for uping the resolution, the game is already next gen as far as I am concerned. But, if they remake I would hope they add a lot more content for guys like me who already beaten the game several times.

Riddick is easily in my top 5 Xbox games and as long as they can get the 360 remake out within a year I'm all over it. I don't think I'm $60 all over it, but if they add some content, tweak a few things, and discount the price a bit ($40?) this is a must have for me.
