might be some of the more epic music I have heard in a long time. And jesus if the artists at blizzard do not do some of the most amazing work i have ever seen.
I almost hate all this starcraft 2 news....we all know blizzard is going to cock tease us for at least a year before we see this shit go close to release.

is it more or does this look so similar to a game that is pushing 10 years anniversary?

Not a giant leap there. hmm, maybe I'm expecting too much.

I mean, it's more like Halo 3 to Halo 2, and less like Pokemon Diamond to Pokemon yellow. So, it's not that bad.

Still, this game will sell like hotcake.

Roflmayo. Once again you prove that you have not actually played Pokemon Diamond.

Well, since you said it, it MUST be true. too bad my Chimchar is only at level 21.

and I believe you forgot the period in the end of your sentence. But then again, last time I checked, this isn't English class.

or is it? ;)

kingofwale: Check again.
You get -20 points for lack of capitalization, -10 points for the emoticon, and -5 points for beginning a sentence with "and".

Your performance has been lacking this semester. You needed a 75 on that comment to pass.
I'm sorry, but you're being held back one year.

*sighs*, I think Nintendo fanboys have finally lost it.

not even a "you're a Nintendo hater" comment at least? much less an capable comeback, I'm so insulted.

That's next? am I going to hear things like "I don't like your face"?

Is it really too much to ask for people to STICK WITH THE TOPIC?

I saw it on the starcraft2.com a few days ago, but it's still good. I agree with #2/Chufmoney's music comment, that stuff sounds epic. I hope they put a download for it on the website.

God I can't wait for this game! #2 commenter is right tho, Blizz will be slowly trickling in the updates for at least a year or two. And by the time the game finally gets releasted I'm sure much of the artwork and units names will have changed. Even tho it's pre-alpha I'm sure we've still got a long way to go...

Is it just me or am I one of the millions of people (and seemingly endless numbers of Koreans) who have been waiting for this game for almost a decade?

From the screenshots given above, I am somewhat impressed but also quite dissapointed. Nearly teen years and they can only give us slight upgrades?

I mean sure, the definition and visibility of the vehicles and characters has increased, but overall the graphics look as though this game came out in 2000, not '07 or '08. I can't wait to play it and will waste many hours of my life doing so, but come on Blizzard, we all know you can do better.

The graphics will get better, but you have to remember. Blizzard has always set low system requirements on thier title. When Warcraft 3 was released they already had Pentium 4, but the game itself ran fine on a 400mhz. Whatever happens with the games release date I can almost garantee that the graphics will only require pc standards dating at least 2 years back.

If we see DirectX10 for this title I would be surprised. I'm sure it doesn't need it, but only time will tell us on that one. They game will probably only need a GeForce 6000 series and 1 gig of ram.

I sense that this is filler while they get the rest of starcraft 2 site up and running.
