I think it's possible Sakurai could have a blog. Didn't he do something similar for Melee? Also when he stopped updating the Dojo site he said he would start again when the game would be reaching finishing stages. Also Fabio for Brawl.

yep... still waiting.

It updates at 5:00am for me in Hawaii, and I've gotten no sleep (mostly because I've been sleeping all day). I have to get in there, and get ready to take screen shots of the pages before the servers get too crowded.

I'm guessing possibly a release date (we found out MP3's release date today - Aug 20) and definitely more characters. Sonic? Tails? Dark Samus?

What, you expected someone to be sitting in NOJ's offices waiting to hit the button that would switch the page... at MIDNIGHT?

Seriously though, it was announced yesterday that the page would most likely be updated sometime after noon, in Japan. So, we'll probably get the information at midnight here in the States.

I thought they had all the pages ready and had some kind of program to set everything online at midnight, like they did with each of the last midnight updates. Ah well, I'm hoping that we'll get some significant information once they release the site!

There technically is no such thing as NOJ. Their correct name is NCL, Nintendo Corporation Limited. And with no Japanese language skills and that the countdown has no hours or minutes and had previously changed at 11am EST, we all assumed the update would happen at 11am today.

Starting noon Japan time, 11pm EST, would technically mean that supposed future edition of Nintendo Power was right that Sakurai's blog or whatever update would happen on May 22nd. Finally Fabio for Brawl.

Or at least more than one Mother/Earthbound character, please.

I don't understand why everyone thinks sonic will be in this game. If he was going to be in SSB, they wouldn't have made such a big deal about Mario and Sonic at the Olympics. I would love for Sonic to be in the game but I don't see how or why it would happen.

i think u should keep the regular charcters plus the new ones u see in trailer vidoes but i just want to say it would be interesting to see diddy kong in it. he would be faster than dk with decent power and it would go well seeing link and young link work out also one more thing to make it more interesting u should make the lvls of the cpus go up to lvl 10 insted of lvl 9 to make it it more interesting and i realy hope u can just listen to me because these extra things might do good for the game.

NO NO SONIC NO MEGAMAN!!!!!!sonic just wouldnt fit in hes not a fighter and megaman sux ass.snake is cool but i dont even think HE should have been aloud in hes not nintendo plz!no third party it would ruin it!

Yeah, sure, Mega Man and Sonic would be nice, but who I'd really like to see is Banjo-Kazooie. They'd be so darn sweet.
